One verse at a time, in the King James Version. Keep it, mark it, move on.A room behind a verse you choose, a knock you choose and a word you choose.♄ a verse you want again. ⚡ a verse that stopped you where you stood. One list. The voice already in your phone reads it. A verse heard is a verse read.Set a plan by the day you want to finish, or by how many verses a day suit you.No number here makes a man nearer to God than another.Your reading moves to a new phone by camera. Nothing passes through a server. One line for the stretch of life you are in. It greets you when you open the app.Every book, and where you left off in each.A verse waiting when you open it.
À propos de cette extension
DrawNigh keeps God's Word inside your browsing life. Read the King James Bible verse by verse — one beautiful verse at a time — with reading plans that fit your pace, daily counters, and streaks. While you browse anything else (comics included 🙂), a gentle gold verse card appears after a while and invites a few verses of real reading, counted toward your plan.

Pause on a verse and pray with it — the prayer timer runs from five seconds to fifteen minutes, and stretches if you want longer. Keep a tile for each of the 66 books, filling in as you walk through them, with ranks for the road behind you. And if life gets heavy and the daily number stops being met, DrawNigh quietly offers you a smaller one rather than letting everything break — then offers to grow it back when you are ready.

Everything stays on your device: no account, no server, no internet needed after install.

Every improvement in DrawNigh so far started with someone noticing something while actually reading. If you notice something — an idea, a problem, a verse that behaves oddly — the support link is a suggestion box, and I read all of it.

"Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you." — James 4:8
