Digital Clock Online – New Tab par Digital Clock

Digital Clock Online replaces your new tab page with a large flip clock.

The clock
- Light, dark or system theme.
- 12-hour or 24-hour time, with or without seconds.
- Settings for the separator, the zone label and the UTC offset.
- Choose your primary time zone and the clock size.
- A date line with the time zone and its UTC offset.
- Time zone names in your browser's language. You can search for a country by its name in that language.
- Links to the tools on onlinedigitalclock.com.

Music, if you want it
- Search YouTube with no sign-in.
- Paste a YouTube video, playlist or mix link. Playlists load up to 200 videos. A mix loads its first 25.
- Add a radio stream link and play it.
- Keep saved lists, or play a list without saving it.

Sync
Settings and saved lists sync through Firefox's own sync. The "Sync with your browser" switch in settings turns it off.

Search permission on Firefox
The first time you search, Firefox asks whether the add-on may send your search words to YouTube. If you say no, search does not run. Everything else still works.

What leaves your browser
- Your search words go to YouTube when you press Search.
- Video and playlist IDs go to YouTube to load titles and lists. Videos play in YouTube's embedded player from www.youtube-nocookie.com.
- Searches and title and playlist lookups go to YouTube without your YouTube cookies and without sign-in. The YouTube library adds your device's offset from UTC to each of these requests.
- Thumbnails load from YouTube's image servers (i.ytimg.com).
- A radio stream link goes to that station's server when you play it.
- On install, the add-on opens a welcome page on onlinedigitalclock.com. It also sets a page there that opens when you remove it. Both addresses carry utm_source=firefox_extension and the add-on version. The website measures its pages with Google Analytics, as its privacy policy explains.
- The new tab's links to onlinedigitalclock.com carry utm_source=firefox_extension, utm_medium=newtab, utm_campaign=site_links and the link name. The website measures its pages with Google Analytics.
- The add-on has no analytics and no server of its own.

Permissions
- storage: keeps your settings and saved lists.
- declarativeNetRequestWithHostAccess, for www.youtube.com and www.youtube-nocookie.com only: sets the Referer header the YouTube player needs, and removes the add-on's Origin header from its own YouTube requests, which YouTube otherwise refuses.
- Access to www.youtube.com and www.youtube-nocookie.com: search, titles, playlists and the player.

Requires Firefox 140 or later. Firefox for Android is not supported, because it does not let add-ons replace the new tab page.
