Essential add-on. Hopefully it will receive an update to make it compatible with the new Firefox Quantum?
This was the best add-on I every had! Please update it!
It's not compatible with my version of Firefox, and I want this add-on badly!!
It was a five-star add-on. Please make another one like it.
Not compatible with Firefox Quantum!!! I've used this add-on for years and years and for whatever reason, Dictionary.com has completely given up on this essential add-on. It's hasn't been updated in 4 years!
Please make it compatible to Firefox Quantum it is an excellent add on indispensable!
hope you can update the add-on to compliant with the Firefox 57.0,I have bought the android app.It is important for me to improve English vocabulary with this add-on.Hope you guys see this.
This was a perfect little add-on and I can't find anything nearly as good to replace it! It's essential. Please update it to work with Firefox 57.
This is probably the best Firefox addon and we´re missing it in the new Quantum Firefox. We beg you, please update!
Please update to make the add-on compatible with Firefox 57/Quantum!
Great definitions, small pop-up window, and it couldn't be easier to use. I upgraded to Firefox Quantum and now I'm wanting to downgrade so I can get my Dictionary.com back. That's how important this add is to me. Please get it to work with Firefox Quantum or I might actually have to give up on Firefox Quantum, because for me, Dictionary.com is not just a nice addon...it is ESSENTIAL!
Can you update it to work with FireFox Quantum (ff 57) please?
Unfortunately the pronunciation is still not working for me.
A very pop-up. Using for quite a long time.
Now click on sound icon not triggering my Java 8 ver 144
Would be better if you could increase text size, for us older people.
The only downside to this is if you are selecting a word for copying, the definition dialogue pops up. But for the overwhelming convenience of having word definitions at your fingertips like that, it's a minor problem.
Really useful but its now working now needs to be update...
Doesn't work with e10s. Needs update.

Overall I like the add-on because it is sort of like the dictionary extension I had in Chrome that I liked so much, but Mozilla Firefox's isn't quite as good. There are no options, as claimed in the description of the add-on. Sometimes one highlights a word for other purposes than to get the definition, for example, so the pop-up is actually in the way. Ought to differentiate the reason for highlighting by either single or double-clicking or whatever so one can right-click the option they need. Another matter is that the pop-up stays on the screen and is in the way after one is done with it and one has to go to the mouse to hover over the little "x" to close the pop-up which slows one's productivity at the keyboard. But, for lack of any better such program in this browser, I'd rather have it than nothing. Thanks.
It doesn't work on reader mode
I got this extension mostly for use while reading epub books in my browser and ran into words I didn't know. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work on anything on firefox that isn't specifically a website.
I will keep using it, as it at least allows me the option to right click and search the word on dictionary.com but I will be looking for another extension that does what I need.
could you modify it to use ctrl+click to start the work?
Good and brief. But I certainly like to be able to disable the pop-up, it really bothers when I don't need it. There's no customization available (for Mozilla v43). Partially disappointed..
It works very well on Mac.
I’m sure non-American’s want American bias in their dictionary: it's here in Dictionary.com - all oriented to US spelling, place names, and history.
Three definitions of ‘legion’, one of them was “American Legion”. Being British I couldn’t give tuppence for this particular definition.
