Privacy Policy for DevDeck

DevDeck is an offline-first new tab extension built with privacy as a primary principle.

1. Zero Data Collection:
DevDeck does not collect, track, store, or transmit any personal information, browsing history,


analytics, or behavioral telemetry.

2. Local Device Storage:
All user data—including tasks, bookmarks, scratchpad notes, Pomodoro records, and dashboard


configurations—is stored exclusively in your local browser storage (localStorage / IndexedDB) on
your device. No data ever leaves your computer.

3. External API Requests:
DevDeck connects to external APIs solely to fetch public information requested by the user:
- Open-Meteo & BigDataCloud: Fetches real-time weather forecasts and reverse-geocodes coordinates.


No personally identifiable information is sent.
- GitHub API: Fetches public commit activity for user-specified repositories.

4. Third-Party Sharing:
No user data is ever collected, sold, or shared with any third party.
