Ă propos de cette extension
Daily Journal Template helps you write your daily stand-up / journal entry in Basecamp Classic (basecamphq.com) in one click.
WHAT IT DOES
Instead of retyping the same structure every day, the add-on inserts a ready-made journal layout into the message or comment field you are editing. Dates and weekdays are filled in automatically. Empty items use Basecampâs real bullet lists (the same style as the editorâs bullet button), so you can start typing immediately.
DEFAULT LAYOUT
âą Todayâs weekday and date (ddmmyy), plus an empty bullet for what you did
âą Tomorrowâs weekday and date, a âTo Do:â line, and an empty bullet for plans
âą A blank line, then //LL for learnings
Example (on a Tuesday):
Tuesday (210726):
âą
Wednesday (220726):
To Do:
âą
//LL
SMART âTOMORROWâ
âą Weekdays map to the next calendar workday
âą On Friday, âtomorrowâ becomes the following Monday and is labeled âNext Mondayâ
âą Saturday and Sunday are skipped (the add-on assumes you only journal on workdays)
HOW TO USE
1. Open your Basecamp Classic site (any *.basecamphq.com project).
2. Open a new or existing message/comment and click into the body field.
3. Click the blue âJournalâ button (bottom-right of the page), or use the toolbar icon â âInsert into pageâ.
4. Fill in the bullets and post as usual.
Optional: turn on âAuto-fill empty body fields when focusedâ in the toolbar popup. When you focus an empty message/comment body, the template is inserted automatically. You can disable this anytime.
CUSTOMIZE YOUR TEMPLATE
Click the small light-bulb icon on the bottom-right of the Journal button (or choose âEdit templateâŠâ in the toolbar popup). A settings dialog lets you edit the template source.

Default source you can edit:
