- Noté 1 sur 5par IndiePat, il y a 2 jours"Requires" very suspicious optional permissions it will prompt you for such as accessing data for all websites. It works perfectly fine without the permission so I worry it is selling information.

mis en ligne : il y a un jourYou can find the extension's source code at https://github.com/AudDMusic/firefox-extension.
On many streaming websites, the audio source is in an iframe/embedded content, which the extension can't access to record audio without that permission.
The only information the extension sends us is information about the current tab when the add-on is opened and the corresponding recorded audio.
We do not sell any user information. - Noté 1 sur 5par Mijehake, il y a 4 joursAPI Tokens started to become a thing making this no longer free after 13 days of use.. Lousy update and refuse to use again. Don't use as it'll become bloatware for your Firefox client after 13 days.

mis en ligne : il y a 3 joursYou don't need to have an API token to use the extension. Apologies if the interface is not clear on that. The field to provide an API token is only for people who otherwise have an API account and, e.g., want to use the extension for work purposes. If you don't have one, you can leave the field empty and use the extension completely for free. - Noté 1 sur 5par Dimibyte, il y a 7 joursНе работает. На твиче нужен токен, но они дискриминируют живущих в РФ

"Recognition failed: authorization failed: no api_token passed and the limit was reached. Get an api_token from dashboard.audd.io and make sure you're passing the token in the `api_token` parameter" - Noté 1 sur 5par DanologyUK, il y a 15 jours
- Noté 1 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 13331269 de Firefox, il y a un moisEven after the last update there is still problem in many sites. Now add-on doens't give result or mutes site and a refresh of the site is required/ For example: www.kusc.org/ strummerradio.com

mis en ligne : il y a 22 joursThere should not be any adware. Our add-on is fully open-source, not minified/obfuscated, and you can look at the source code to check for anything shady. We'd be extremely surprised if the extension is related to any ads.- Noté 1 sur 5par TechnoM4tter, il y a 3 mois
- Noté 1 sur 5par Josxy, il y a 4 moisDoesn't work on Reddit. It just says "start error: can't find any unpaused media elements." when a video is playing.

mis en ligne : il y a 4 moisUnfortunately, some websites play audio in isolated elements, which prevents it from being captured by a Firefox extension. On Reddit, the solution would be to mention u/auddbot, which will identify the song. Alternatively, you can use our Chrome extension. - Noté 1 sur 5par derek, il y a 7 mois
- Noté 1 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 18455060 de Firefox, il y a 7 moisWhen it works right it is actually decent. However for the past 6 months it keeps on giving me an API token error even though I have a token (something I shouldn't need to do as AHA on Chrome doesnt need this or a payment plan). It is currently up to date with 3.1.6 but they clearly did not fix this issue like they said they would in response to a separate review. When I revoke the token and get a new one it starts asking for a payment plan. The only way to use this extension is to use temporary emails to get a new API token.

mis en ligne : il y a 4 moisHi there,
We apologize for causing confusion. The extension does not require API tokens or signing up to work. The API token field is for people with active API subscription. Please remove an API token from the settings to freely use the extension.
We also sincerely ask that you don’t sign up for multiple API accounts. It is unnecessary (the extension works without a token!), creates a significant financial burden on our side (we have to pay to Auth0 for users), and violates our terms of service.
We will make it clearer in an update. - Noté 1 sur 5par Luneriane, il y a 8 moisI tried it on multiple songs, but none of them were right. It recognized the same music whereas the songs were different (similar style but still quite different).

mis en ligne : il y a 10 moisOur extension is free and generally doesn't require any paid subscriptions.- Noté 1 sur 5par Tomi, il y a 10 moisIt simply hasn't recognized anything for me yet. Seems to be absolutely useless to me.

mis en ligne : il y a un anCan you please share more info? What is your browser and OS version and what was the website? The extension works on, e.g., YouTube, just fine for us- Noté 1 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 13902717 de Firefox, il y a un anJust like Shazam and SoundHound, if it's not a popular song, nothing comes up.

mis en ligne : il y a un anSorry, in our DB, we only have songs available to us through our partners in the music industry. Unfortunately, many tracks are not officially published and thus we can't identify them :( - Noté 1 sur 5par Erufen, il y a un anEvery single song I've tried, has returned with an absolutely wrong result not even CLOSE to resembling my sample. I wanted to know the name of a gregorian chant, and I was served with some garbage "narcocorrido". Racist much? geolocation shouldn't even be a thing right?
Réponse du développeur
mis en ligne : il y a un anApologies our extension couldn't help! Our service does not use any sort of geo-location to identify music. Unfortunately, music different from what's published on streaming services can produce false positive results. If you can share the link to a falsely identified song with us (firefox@audd.io), we'd appreciate it!
Again, really sorry about your experience! - Noté 1 sur 5par Derk "Dirk" Derkinson, il y a un anDefault account limit exceeded for today. Check options page
