Won't download in 1080p even if avalible and set, but nothing else has worked at all so far.
Doesn't work much on youtube anymore, a shame I've been using this a year or more up until now. The support link doesn't exist anymore, and the suggestions for empty downloads don't change anything.
Very obtrusive overlay, it even messes with website rendering.
Shows as the most relevent result when searching "save source", but it doesn't save the source :(.
It may terminate firefox, but it doesn't remove it from recent apps so it's still useless to me.
(HTC m7, android 4.4.2, sense 6)
I'm on android (4.4.2) and I'd like the menu entries to be in thier own folder to save room & scrolling.
I thought I could't use the whitelist but it turns out I had menus turned off. might want to add that info to the 'how to use' that pops up when you click 'whitelist' under 'settings'.Cette critique est pour une version précédente du module (0.4.4).
It sounds awesome, exactly what I want and no cluter. But when I close firefox and open it back up again I'm still logged into sites even with saving passwords turned off and this add-on.
I've been using superstop to disable animated gifs, hitting esc to kill them when they got too annoying. Well, I just broke my keyboard when hitting esc didn't respond fast enough. Now, animated gif won't play at all. Much better.
Firefox v26 removes the classic download manager that this relys on, and what they've replaced it with is utter crud, with not even the basest options to tweak it's behaviour. I'll be moving to v24ESR to get away from firefoxs' current spiral into the abyss, I'm I'm going to start looking for a decent alternative to firefox.
This is much a much needed extension, since firefox completely and utterly broke their own download manager; and for a time it was very useful. But now it opens multiple tabs when I start a download. When it opened the download tab 15-20 on one click I decided it was time to disable this extension. Pitty.
Could we get this for firefox? Or get the stand alone sunbird updated? I don't want thunderbird.
This neveer highlighs anything, even when I know I'm wrng and the pell checker is on.
Just had to add the word 'movie' to the dictionary, so a little disappointed. A shame that the GB version of FF doesn't come with a dictionary already...
For me it works sometimes, and not others. With deluge 1.3.6 (python 2.7, libtorrent 16.8), on windows 7 64bit, firefox 22. I don't know if it's the deluge daemon being picky, or if it's the plugins implementation; but it doesn't work consistently enough for me to keep.
I consider this add-on necessary. Would love to see an option to 'protect' the tab from being reused, for example say I bring up the history side bar and forget to middle click while 'downloads' is my only open tab.
Would like to protect it not only from being reused, but from firefox being closed if there are still downloads running. Perhaps there is another add-on for that, and someoen can point me to it?
This can't be used to remove a shortcut entirely, but I used autohotkey to remap a key to F13, then set a bunch of annoying things to ctrl+alt+shift+F13. Hopefully it lists all shortcuts so the ones I don't need won't accidentally do something stupid in the middle of using a web app.
Also this add-on allows you to remap the superstop add-on to esc instead of shift+esc, a happy surprise I wasn't expecting.
Now if mozilla could stop poisoning firefox with a bunch of useless crap that gets in my way while removing functions I don't want then I wouldn't need these add-ons...
Not sure about the other engines but this causes google to use "I'm feeling lucky". An option to turn this on or off would be nice. Also would be nice to be able to edit the search string, I know I could go to about:config but then I'd have to look up the thing I have to edit first yadda yadda.. that's why I installed this.
Theres no support link. I've found that even after disabling this add-on, the website I had selected as do not cache STILL doesn't cache. Worse still, I used this add-on because pages weren't updating when they should and THEY STILL DIDN'T! And now that I've got rid of it images STILL have to load every single time I change pages, which is very annoying and shouldn't happen after it's been disabled.
