Tab Flip tekijä gstaha
Flip between the current tab and the last one you were on. The shortcut is yours to choose: record any combination, have it validated, and test in place whether it is actually free before you commit to it.

One keypress flips you to the tab you were on before. The same keypress flips you back. Like Alt+Tab, but for tabs.
The shortcut is yours. Most add-ons like this hardcode the key or bury it in about:addons. Tab Flip ships a proper picker:
Default is Alt+Q. Change it whenever you like, from the add-on's Preferences or from Firefox's own Manage Extension Shortcuts. Both edit the same setting.
Nothing is collected. The only permission requested is local storage, which is why Firefox shows no permission prompt when you install it. No network access, no page access, no reading of tab URLs or titles.
History is tracked per window, five tabs deep, so closing the tab you were about to flip back to falls through to the next one instead of doing nothing.

The shortcut is yours. Most add-ons like this hardcode the key or bury it in about:addons. Tab Flip ships a proper picker:
- Record it: press the combination instead of typing it out.
- Validated: checked against Firefox's rules before you save, so you never get a silent no-op.
- Conflict warnings: pick Ctrl+T and it tells you that's New Tab first.
- Tested in place: with the options page open, the shortcut flashes a light instead of switching tabs. No flash means something else already owns that combination: Firefox, your window manager, or another add-on. That is the one conflict no extension can detect by asking, because Firefox exposes no API for other add-ons' bindings.
