** Troubleshoot Adblocker PART I **
I didn't realize that I have been using this add-on for such a long period of time. As an adblocking add-on it is extremely stable. If you find that your bro2wser is allowing ads and you have this blocker enabled then here is how you can fix the problem:
1) Close browser, then after browser processes all stop restart the browser.
(The browser may complete an update that it downloaded and has been waiting for the browser to be restarted so that it can complete the update process. Chances are that all is well, now.
2) Does the problem persist? i.e. is the browser still passing adds to you?
Solve: Close firefox, SAVE ALL WORK, REBOOT PC. After it comes back do a second power cycle, RESTART, either from the logon prompt or from a desktop. (Sometimes PCs are holding onto updates or repair processes and they will run very slowly. If it has been some long period of tome since you last rebooted then allowing the OS to complete 2 consecutive reboots can be advisable. I find that it often bails me out of very slow systems or ADBLOCKER passing ads to me. when I have it activated.
3) Does ADBLOCKER still not function correctly?
click TOOLS, Add-ons and Themes, LOCATE THE ADD-ON near the top of the list. Left click the ... menu located to far right side of the add-on, left click REMOVE. Allow the add-on to remove itself. (I recommend closing all windows, saving all work and doing a system shutdown and allow the system to turn off. - Arvioitu 1/5kirjoittanut Firefox-käyttäjä 14655349, vuosi sittenI can't figure out how to use it. I had Price Blink, which now directs me here. I click on add on to Firefox. I get this page, a whole lot of advertising, but no place to actually install this. And every time I so much as look at a page of items to sell, Price Blink pops up and redirects me here. I feel like I fell into a dryer -- I keep going around, with no way out and nothing accomplished.

- Arvioitu 2/5kirjoittanut Howard, kaksi vuotta sittenCNET is replacing the PriceBlink add-on, one which I've had for a few years. PriceBlink was out of the way and subtle, yet always showed (no clicking required) how many competing prices and coupons it had... or it was hidden when it had nothing for me. On the other hand, CNET is bright red and covers the top right of my screen, even when it has found nothing at all, and flashes like it is the greatest thing since sliced bread when it has a coupon. Just no. Uninstalling and hunting for a worthwhile PriceBlink replacement.

- Arvioitu 1/5kirjoittanut me, kaksi vuotta sittenwhy would anyone use a plug in where you have to consent to allowing it to access data on all web sites? I guess no one has any concerns with granting the developer access to your bank account info, your 401k account or other sensitive info, well no one except me. DO NOT INSTALL UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SCAMMED, PHISHED, OR SCREWED.

It's just as well you are not actually selling this product - you would have very few buyers!!

- Arvioitu 5/5kirjoittanut Firefox-käyttäjä 13784305, kaksi vuotta sittenIt works as intended, and does a great job doing so! I recommend it!
- Arvioitu 3/5kirjoittanut User, kolme vuotta sittenIt does save money on occasion, but the constant pop-ups of useless info are really annoying - and there's no option to disable them without disabling the entire extension. Useless info being things like: 'you found the best deal!' or 'doesn't work for this page' or whatever. The ONLY time I want a pop-up is if there's opportunity for savings in excess of some threshold value of the item cost; say 5% or $5 - could be user variable in the settings! It'd also be great to be able to blacklist some vendors, like ebay. That said, I'm surprised there are so few users of this add-on. I wonder if there's a better one that I'm not aware of...
