What stays on your device: the daily list of supported stores (matching happens locally; your browsing history is never sent), your settings and hidden sites.

What is sent to CouponSwift, only on supported stores: the store id, the page address without its query string, the text of buttons you click (to recognise cart, checkout and order pages), shopping steps (code copied, pasted, checkout seen, order placed) with an anonymous install id, your "worked / didn't work" votes, and, when a code is applied at checkout, a cleaned snippet of the area around the discount-code box with the code tried. Names, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, card and bank numbers are removed on your device before upload; if cleaning fails, nothing is sent. Usage data (shopping steps, votes) can be switched off in the add-on's settings.

We do not sell your data, do not use it for advertising and do not read passwords, payment details or page content outside the discount-code area. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Retention: checkout snippets 90 days; shopping steps and votes 12 months. You can ask for access, correction or erasure at hello@couponswift.com (include the install id shown in the settings) and complain to the Romanian supervisory authority (ANSPDCP).
