ClickFix Mitigator is a defensive browser extension designed to detect and block ClickFix-style social engineering techniques before they are accidentally executed.
The extension analyzes visible signals on the page, deceptive instructions such as “Win+R / Win+X + paste,” mismatches between copied content and the context displayed to the user, and other high-risk indicators associated with suspicious command strings.
Key features:
- Real-time detection of ClickFix patterns and similar variants.
- Clipboard threat analysis: suspicious commands, URLs, obfuscation, and payloads.
- Contextual blocking of pages or scripts when the risk is high.
- Controlled exceptions: allow once, allow for the session, or allow always.
- Manual reporting of suspicious pages or events.
- Optional integration with a web platform for reviewing alerts, verdicts, and investigations.
