Check with Phil helps 3D printing enthusiasts quickly compare MakerWorld projects against the filament they already own.
While browsing MakerWorld, the extension can check a project’s filament requirements against your linked Check with Phil filament library and show:
- Filaments you already have that match the project
- Similar colors or materials you may be able to substitute
- Filaments you may need to purchase
Your filament inventory remains local-first and is not uploaded as part of the comparison process. Check with Phil does not require a paid subscription.
A separate sample/demo mode is available so the extension can be explored without creating a filament library first.
