CaptionGo v1.2 upgrades real-time AI video subtitles and live bilingual translation across Chrome, Edge, and Firefox (including Android mobile browsers), making it easier to watch unsubtitled videos, online courses, and live streams on YouTube, Twitch, Bilibili, and any website. Alongside Deepgram, CaptionGo now includes Soniox, xAI, and Qwen (Alibaba Cloud) as built-in speech-to-text engines, with full support for adding your own API keys. Soniox native real-time bilingual translation transcribes speech and outputs translated subtitles simultaneously without using AI translation credits. In addition, fixed daily limits are replaced by one-time account quotas and never-expiring top-up packs, so you can watch full-length movies, lectures, and streams without hitting a 30-minute daily cap. | AI Subtitle Engine | Languages & Best Use Cases | Bilingual Subtitle Translation | Available Server Regions | | :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- | | Deepgram | 30+ languages; ultra-fast recognition for English and European languages | Works with built-in AI Translation or free machine translation | US (default), EU | | Soniox | 60+ languages; native real-time bilingual translation & custom vocabulary | Direct speech-to-bilingual subtitles in one stream (uses 0 translation credits) | Japan (default), US, EU, India | | xAI | 25+ languages; natural auto language detection for multilingual speech | Works with built-in AI Translation or free machine translation | Global auto-routed endpoint | | Qwen (Alibaba Cloud) | 29+ languages; high accuracy for Chinese, Cantonese, Japanese, and Korean | Works with built-in AI Translation or free machine translation | Mainland China, Singapore |

Soniox, xAI & Qwen AI Speech-to-Text Engines: Now built in alongside Deepgram and ready to generate real-time subtitles on any video or live stream right out of the box; you can also enter your own API key in Settings for unlimited transcription without using your CaptionGo account quota
Soniox Native Real-Time Bilingual Translation (Zero Translation Credits Used): When using Soniox with bilingual subtitles turned on, Soniox transcribes audio and translates subtitles at the same time (supporting two-way translation, one-way translation, and custom glossaries) without calling external translation APIs or spending AI translation quota
Multi-Region Server Selection for Lower Latency: Choose the closest server location for Soniox (Japan, US, EU, India), Deepgram (US, EU), and Qwen (Mainland China, Singapore) to minimize live caption delay
On-Demand Quota Top-Up Packs: Purchase extra AI subtitle minutes (300 / 600 / 1,200 min) or AI translation requests (3,000 / 10,000 / 25,000 requests) on our website whenever you need more — top-up credits never expire and stack across purchases
