   Audio Recordings: The core function of Capisci is to record audio from meetings in your browser. This audio is captured, processed (e.g., trimmed and compressed), and saved as files directly onto your computer's hard drive.
   No External Transmission: We want to be unequivocally clear: Your audio recordings and any related data are never transmitted, uploaded, or sent to any external server, third-party service, or cloud storage. All data remains within your control, on your local device.

1. How We Use Your Data

The data Capisci processes is used solely for the application's functionality, which is to provide you with audio recordings of your meetings. We do not access, analyze, or listen to your recordings.

1. User Control and Data Management

You have complete and total control over your data. Because all recordings are stored as files on your computer, you can access, manage, share, or delete them at any time using your operating system's standard file browser.

1. Required Permissions
   
   nativeMessaging: This permission is required for the browser extension to communicate with the local Capisci daemon running on your computer. This communication is essential for starting and stopping recordings and does not involve sending any data off your machine.
   tabs: This permission allows the extension to identify the URLs of your tabs to determine if you are in a meeting. This information is processed locally and is not stored or transmitted.
