What we collect
When you use the Biblical Analysis browser extension, the following data is sent to our server:Selected text — the text you highlight and choose to analyze.
Page URL — the URL of the page where you selected the text.
Client ID — a randomly generated identifier stored locally in your browser, used solely for rate limiting.
If you create an account, we also store:Email address — used for authentication and account communications.
Hashed password — if you register with email (passwords are never stored in plain text).
Subscription status — to manage your plan.
How we use your dataSelected text and page URL are sent to an AI service to generate the Biblical analysis. We do not permanently store analyzed text.
The client ID is used only to enforce daily usage limits.
Account data is used for authentication, subscription management, and essential service communications.
Third-party servicesAI analysis provider — selected text is sent to a third-party AI API to produce analysis results.
Payment processor — if you upgrade to a paid plan, payment is handled by LemonSqueezy. We do not store your payment details.
Google OAuth — if you sign in with Google, we receive your email address from Google. We do not access any other Google data.
Data retention
Analyzed text is processed in real time and is not stored after the response is returned. Account data is retained as long as your account exists. You can request account deletion by contacting us.
Cookies and local storage
The extension stores authentication tokens and a client ID in your browser's local storage. The landing site does not use tracking cookies.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.
