awRAG.io tekijä awRAG.io

awRAG.io turns your documents into a portable knowledge library you can query from any website — not just AI platforms. Upload once (PDF, Word, Markdown, text, code, etc.) and search your library with cited, AI-powered answers from anywhere.

What's New in 5.5.0:
- Re-Generate Answer button — re-roll an AI answer without losing your context selection
- Document results default to a collapsed index for a clean overview; expand what you care about
- Markdown rendering for AI answers (headings, lists, tables, code blocks) with Copy Answer as Formatted (HTML) or As Markdown
- Document actions — Download original, Download as Markdown, Open in awRAG.io
- Universal website support — works on any website, not just predefined AI platforms; on non-AI sites, results can be copied to clipboard
- Enriched literature-style source citations (authors, year, title, filename)

How It Works:
1. Upload documents to your free or paid account at awRAG.io
2. Install the extension
3. Click the awRAG floating button in the lower-right corner of any website, or press Ctrl+Shift+L (Cmd+Shift+L on Mac)
4. Search, select chunks, inject context into AI conversations or copy to clipboard

Supported AI Platforms (auto-inject):
• Claude.ai
• ChatGPT
• Perplexity AI
• Google Gemini
• Google NotebookLM

Works Anywhere Else:
On non-AI sites (browser, email, docs, editor), the awRAG button is grayed out but the side panel still opens via keyboard shortcut — search your library and copy results to clipboard for pasting anywhere.

Key Features:
- Floating action button for instant access on supported AI sites
- Keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+L / Cmd+Shift+L) on any website
- Selective context insertion with per-chunk checkboxes
- AI-generated answers from selected context (streaming, with markdown rendering)
