AI Block helps you browse the web with fewer artificial intelligence features and less AI-generated content.

The extension hides known components such as Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, Bing Copilot, DuckAssist, Brave Leo, Amazon Rufus, YouTube AI summaries, and Reddit Answers. It can also detect AI signals on sites outside its catalogue using heuristics. Detection is enabled by default, while hiding content based on these estimates remains optional.

AI Block also marks results on Google, Bing, and DuckDuckGo. Before opening a page, you can see when a site is known to use AI, declares AI content, or was previously detected during your browsing.

You stay in control: pause the extension, exclude individual domains, disable specific catalogue rules, and review or delete learned domains whenever you want.

Everything works locally on your device. AI Block makes no network requests, uses no telemetry, and sends no information to a server. Detected domains and preferences never leave your browser.

Websites change frequently, so no detection method can guarantee perfect accuracy. Individual rules can be disabled to adapt AI Block to the way you browse.
