WebTimeout Jeewantha Lekamwasam توسط

WebTimeout helps you stay focused by blocking distracting websites on a custom schedule. Set up rules with flexible URL patterns, define exact day/time windows, and use the daily snooze allowance whenever you need a quick, temporary break.

Whether you want to limit your social media consumption during work hours or stop late-night scrolling, WebTimeout provides the flexible tools you need to build healthier browsing habits.

🌟 Key Features
- Flexible Scheduling: Create personalized blocking rules that apply only when you need them. Select specific days of the week and define exact time windows (e.g., block social media from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM).
- Advanced URL Matching: Block entire domains or target specific paths within a site. Wildcard support ensures you can be as broad or as specific as necessary.
- Smart Snooze System: Sometimes you just need a quick break. WebTimeout offers a daily snooze allowance, letting you temporarily bypass an active block up to 3 times a day for 15 minutes each. It's the perfect balance of strict enforcement and necessary flexibility.
- Active Rule Protection: To prevent self-sabotage, rules that are currently active (within their blocking time window) are locked down. You cannot edit, disable, or delete a rule while it is actively enforcing a block, ensuring you stick to your goals.
- Import & Export Configuration: Easily back up your custom rules or share your schedule across multiple devices by exporting your settings.
- Customizable Interface: Choose between Light and Dark themes within the extension's dashboard to seamlessly match your preferences.

🔒 Privacy by Design
Your data is exactly that - yours. WebTimeout operates entirely locally on your device. Your blocking rules, schedules, and snooze history are never collected, tracked, transmitted, or shared with any external servers. The extension only utilizes permissions strictly necessary to monitor URLs against your rules, enforce your schedules, and display the blocked pages.
