WebGator: Minimalist Navigation Bar Alter Of WebGation

WebGator is a lightweight, high-performance navigation assistant that adds a sleek, adaptive control bar to your browsing experience. Designed to blend perfectly with the modern web, WebGator provides essential navigation controls—Back, Forward, Reload, Home, and Close—in a beautiful, non-intrusive interface.

Whether you are using Firefox on a desktop or on the go with Firefox for Android, WebGator adapts to your screen and your style.

✨ KEY FEATURES

• Adaptive Theming: WebGator intelligently detects the background color of the website you are visiting and adjusts its own colors to match, creating a native, seamless look.
• Dual Display Modes:
  • Floating (Pill Mode): A draggable, compact pill that stays where you want it. Perfect for large monitors and mouse users.
  • Static (Top Bar): A fixed bar at the top of the page that stays out of the way of the website's original navigation.
• Smart Auto-Hide: In Static mode, the bar intelligently hides while you scroll or remain idle, reappearing instantly when you scroll up or hover near the top edge.
• Draggable Interface: Simply click/touch and drag to position the navigation bar anywhere on your screen. Positions are saved automatically for every site.
• Firefox for Android Support: Fully optimized for mobile touch gestures. Drag-and-drop works flawlessly on your phone.
• Custom Homepage: Set your preferred homepage via the extension settings to jump to your favorite site in one click.

🚀 TWO WAYS TO BROWSE

1. Desktop Experience: Enjoy a "Glassmorphism" UI with blur effects and smooth transitions. Use the Floating mode to keep controls near your cursor, reducing mouse travel.
2. Mobile Experience: On Firefox for Android, use the Static mode for a native-feeling toolbar that doesn't interfere with the system's URL bar.

🛡️ PRIVACY & PERFORMANCE

• Minimal Permissions: We only require storage to save your custom positions and settings.
• No Tracking: WebGator does not collect, store, or transmit any browsing data or personal information.
• Zero Lag: Built using the latest Manifest V3 standards for maximum efficiency and battery life.
