Tap Notes: Your Fast, Private, and Powerful Local Notebook
Tap Notes is a lightning-fast, offline-first note-taking extension designed right into your browser. Whether you're jotting down a quick thought from a pop-up or expanding on ideas in a full-screen tab, Tap Notes provides a beautiful, distraction-free environment that keeps your data strictly on your device.

Key Features:

✏ Rich Text Editor & To-Do Lists Format your thoughts with bold, italics, and underlines. Easily insert interactive To-Do checkboxes to keep track of your daily tasks.

🖼 Seamless Image Support Drag and drop images directly into your notes or use the file picker. We utilize an advanced local database (IndexedDB) behind the scenes, allowing you to add heavy, high-quality images without ever hitting Chrome's standard storage quotas.

🎨 Built-In Drawing & Sketching Canvas Need to map out an idea? Switch to Drawing Mode! Sketch directly over your notes with customizable pen widths and an infinite color palette.

💾 Customizable Auto-Save Never lose a thought. Configure auto-save intervals from 15 seconds to 5 minutes, or disable it entirely and rely on the manual Save button. The intelligent status indicator always lets you know when your work is safely stored.

🌓 Beautiful Themes Personalize your workspace with stunning global themes: crisp Light, sleek Dark, easy-reading Sepia, or deep OLED for true blacks and battery saving.

📱 Flexible Workspaces (Pop-up & Full Page) Access your notes instantly from the browser extension pop-up, or click the "⤢ Full Page" button for a distraction-free, full-tab writing experience. Your home screen neatly organizes all your notes in your choice of Grid or List layouts.

🔒 100% Private & Offline No accounts, no cloud syncs, no tracking. Tap Notes stores everything locally on your hard drive, ensuring complete privacy and lighting-fast performance even without an internet connection.
