Talysman is a website blocker and distraction blocker for deep work, studying, and focused browsing. This browser extension works with the Talysman desktop app to block distracting websites during your focus sessions.

Unlike a typical website blocker that you can disable with a click, Talysman uses a physical USB key to make ending a focus session early a deliberate decision.

Pair any USB drive you already own, start a focus session, and put the drive somewhere out of reach. If you want to stop your session early, you'll need to get the key and plug it back in.

1. Download the Talysman desktop app for Windows, macOS, or Linux at https://talysman.app.
2. Install this browser extension.
3. Choose which websites you want to block in the desktop app.
4. Pair any USB drive as your physical focus key.
5. Start a focus session, unplug the key, and focus without distractions.
