SoftText Mohammad Uzair توسط

SoftText makes dark websites easier on the eyes by replacing harsh near-white text with a softer reading color.

Features

• Softens bright text on dark pages to reduce eye strain
• Lets users choose the replacement color and sensitivity
• Can replace both text and icons
• Includes a global on/off toggle and a per-site toggle
• Supports site exceptions
• Stores all settings locally in the browser
• Includes dark and light popup themes

Privacy

SoftText does not collect, store, or transmit personal data. User settings are saved locally in browser storage only.

Notes

SoftText works best on dark pages where pure white text feels too sharp during long reading sessions. It does not modify canvas-rendered text, cross-origin iframes, Firefox internal pages, or PDF viewers.
