⭐Why you should use our ratings:
By shopping ethically consumers can send a strong message for change and help support the practices that make our world a better place to live in.

Company ratings are based on information gathered from over 90 sources, including the work of organisations such as Greenpeace, Ethical Fashion Guide, WWF, Fairtrade and Amnesty International.

Our ratings use assessments from 4 broad categories:
- Social
- Environment
- Animal
- Business ethics
... with over 20 subcategories like Factory Farming, Palm Oil, Product Safey, Worker Rights, and Corporate Conduct.

Sometimes, brand names are also common words (think Apple!). So, you may sometimes see some "false positives" as you're browsing. Use your common sense to work out whether it's really a brand name in context.
