Send to Clapper AAG توسط

"Send to Clapper" is a Firefox extension that allows you to easily send YouTube videos and Shorts to the Clapper media player for a better viewing experience. By clicking the extension icon or using the context menu on a YouTube link or video, the extension pauses the video and sends the video URL to Clapper for playback. This lets you watch YouTube content outside of YouTube’s native player, providing more control and features that Clapper offers.

The extension supports both regular YouTube videos and Shorts, ensuring a seamless transition between platforms. It normalizes YouTube URLs to a standard format before sending them to Clapper.

Clapper is an open-source video player designed to provide a more personalized viewing experience. It offers an interface optimized for video playback, supporting both streaming and local content. By using Clapper, you can enjoy YouTube content without the clutter of advertisements, giving you a cleaner and more focused viewing experience.

To operate, the extension relies on a native messaging host, which facilitates communication between the extension and the Clapper player installed on your system. If the native messaging host is not detected, the extension will prompt you to install or configure it for proper operation. You can install Clapper either through a package manager or via Flatpak, depending on your system preferences.

It only sends the video URL to the Clapper player, and no data is collected or shared with third parties. Additionally, the extension does not interact with any other data on your browsing activity outside of YouTube links. Your browsing activity and data remain private and secure.
