Sellthru for Vinted ("Sellthru") is a browser extension published by Exochard, the publisher named on its store listings. Exochard decides what data Sellthru handles and is responsible for it. Contact: the contact form at https://payhip.com/ExochardTools
Sellthru is independent of Vinted and is not made, endorsed or supported by it.
This policy covers the extension and the licence and feedback API it talks to (hosted on Cloudflare at gigscope-api.exochard.workers.dev). It describes every kind of data Sellthru handles, how it is used, where it is stored, how long it is kept and who it is shared with. Sellthru handles no data that is not listed here.
Sellthru helps Vinted sellers price an item. On a Vinted search page you click its button and it reads the listings that page already contains, then shows price bands, a suggested price and which groups of brand, size and condition get the most hearts. On an item page the button opens the matching search in a new tab. It runs only on Vinted storefront pages (www.vinted.*, search and item pages). It never sends a request to Vinted, never prefetches another page, and never acts on your Vinted account: it does not favourite, make offers, message, relist or buy.
- Website content: the public listing details of the Vinted page you click on (brand, size, condition, price, hearts, title and link of each listing, and the page address). Read in your browser, on your click. Kept only in your browser: for the open panel, and with Pro in a notebook for 7 days. Never sent to us or anyone else.
- Authentication information: your Pro licence key, sent to the Sellthru API to check it.
- Personal communications: the text of a suggestion or problem report, only when you send one.
- Personally identifiable information: the email address you may add to a suggestion so we can reply, only when you send one.
Sellthru does not collect your browsing history, your Vinted account, messages, orders or seller names, health or payment information, or your location. It has no analytics and no usage counts. It does not sell data, does not use it for advertising, and does not use it for any purpose unrelated to helping you price your Vinted items.
These stay in your browser's extension storage and are never sent to us. Uninstalling the extension deletes all of it.
| Data | What it holds | How long |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Notebook (Pro) | For each page you clicked: its address without the part after
# (this includes your search words and filters), the time you clicked, and for each listing on it the listing number, title, link, price, price with buyer protection, currency, hearts, whether it is promoted or from a business seller, brand, size and condition. | Each page is deleted 7 days after you clicked it. This is checked every time the notebook is read or written and every time the extension's background wakes up (at browser start and when you click). At most 40 pages and 4000 listings are kept, oldest first. "Clear the notebook" in the popup deletes it at once. || Days of use | Up to 10 calendar-day labels (for example 2026-10-7) on which the price panel showed numbers. Used only to decide when to show a rating request. | Until you uninstall; only the latest 10 are kept. |
| Rating request choice | Whether you rated, or the time you chose "Not now". | Until you uninstall. "Not now" hides the request for 30 days. |
| Page-reading failures | A count of Vinted pages Sellthru could not read, and the time of the last one. No address or content. | Until you uninstall. |
| Licence | Your Pro licence key, the pass type and end date, the time of the last check, and a random id made when the extension was installed. | Until you remove the key in the popup or uninstall. |
The free panel keeps nothing from the page after you close it.
- What is sent: your licence key, the product name (
sellthru), and the random install id. - When: when you activate Pro, at most once a day after that, and when you remove the key in the popup (to free its seat; an unanswered release is retried at most every 15 minutes until it succeeds).
- Why: to confirm the key is valid with Payhip, the seller of record for Pro passes, and to count each browser once, so entering the key again in the same browser never takes a second of its 3 seats.
- Where it is kept: the API keeps the list of install ids that use a key, filed under a one-way hash of the product name and key; the key itself is not stored. The list expires 400 days after the key was last checked.
- If you never entered a key, nothing is sent.
- What is sent: the text you wrote, your email address if you chose to add one, whether it is an idea or a problem, and the extension version.
- When: only when you press Send in the suggestion form. Your browser may ask your permission first; if you decline, nothing is sent.
- Why: so we can read your message and, if you gave an email address, reply to you. The email address is used only to reply.
- Where it is kept: in the API's database, with a one-way hash of your network address salted with a value that changes every day. The hash limits how many messages one connection can send in a day and cannot be linked across days. Messages, with their email address, are deleted 12 months after they arrive. You can ask us to delete yours sooner through the contact form.
The Get Pro tab and its pass buttons open a Payhip page in a new tab. The link carries the product name, the word
extension and the name of the screen you clicked from (popup, panel or welcome page), so we can tell which screen led to a sale. Nothing else is added. You buy Pro on Payhip, which handles the payment, your name, your email address and the licence key under its own privacy policy. Payhip then sends the API a notice about the order. The API keeps the product code of the pass, the price, the currency, whether a coupon was used and the order number for 35 days, plus a daily count of sales for 400 days. Your name, email address, network address and licence key are not stored by Sellthru.
We share data only with the services that run Sellthru, and only for the purposes above:
- Payhip, to check licence keys and sell passes: https://payhip.com/privacy
- Cloudflare, which hosts the API: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/
Vinted receives nothing from Sellthru. We do not sell or rent data, do not share it with advertisers or data brokers, and do not transfer it for any other purpose. We would disclose data only if the law requires it.
All traffic between the extension, the API and the services above uses HTTPS. The API keeps licence keys and network addresses only as one-way hashes. The notebook never leaves your browser.
- See or delete your local data: use "Clear the notebook" in the popup, remove the key in the popup, or uninstall the extension.
- Ask about, correct or delete a message you sent, or free a licence seat: write to us through https://payhip.com/ExochardTools. We answer within 30 days.
- If you live in the EU or the UK, you also have the rights the GDPR gives you, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Sellthru is a tool for Vinted sellers and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from them.
When this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top. A change that adds a new kind of data ships only with an extension update whose store listing describes it.
