ScreenSilo lmn451 توسط

ScreenSilo records a tab, window, or entire screen directly in Firefox. No sign-in, cloud upload, tracking, or watermark.

What you can do

• Record a browser tab, window, or your entire screen
• Include optional microphone or available system audio
• Stop anytime from the toolbar popup or in-page Stop button
• Preview recordings instantly and download them as WebM

Why ScreenSilo

• Privacy-first: recordings never leave your device
• Local-first: video, audio, recovery state, and diagnostics stay in your browser
• Lightweight: no servers, accounts, analytics, or remote code
• Reliable: local checkpoints help recover interrupted recordings

How it works

1. Click the extension icon
2. Choose what to record
3. Approve Firefox's screen picker
4. Stop when finished
5. Preview and download your recording

Permissions

• activeTab: temporarily accesses the active tab after your click so recording controls can appear
• scripting: adds and removes the small in-page Stop overlay
• storage: saves local recording data and minimal recovery state
• alarms: runs local recording checkpoints and recovery checks
