The internet lost its comment section. OpenDiscourse brings it back.

Have you ever read a controversial news article, a confusing piece of technical documentation, or a fascinating blog post, only to find that the author disabled the comment section? If you wanted to see what others were saying, you had to hunt down a thread on Reddit or X. Not anymore.

OpenDiscourse is a lightweight, universal comment layer for the entire internet. We forcefully inject a beautiful, non-intrusive comment sidebar onto literally any URL you visit, allowing you to discuss the content directly on the page with anyone else in the world.

✨ Key Features:
• A Comment Section for Every URL: From Wikipedia pages to Bloomberg articles and job listings, every single webpage now has a globally shared discussion board.
• 100% Anonymous & Zero Friction: No account creation, no sign-ups, and no passwords. You are assigned a persistent random identity so you can converse freely and instantly.
• Highlight & Quote: Select any text on any webpage, right-click (or use the popup tooltip), and instantly quote that exact text into your comment to start a precise discussion.
• Threaded Conversations: Reply to other users, spark debates, and keep the discourse organized with cascading reply threads.

Privacy-First Design: OpenDiscourse respects your digital privacy. We do not track your browsing history. The extension only activates and fetches comments when you explicitly click the floating action button on a specific webpage.

Join the discussion anywhere, anytime, with OpenDiscourse.
