Mute Tab Manager My Name is Tito توسط

Mute Tab Manager gives you fast, reliable tab muting with first-class YouTube support.

Features

• Instant Tab Muting
• Mute and unmute the active tab with a single toolbar click or the keyboard shortcut Alt+Shift+M.
• A clear badge on the icon always shows you whether a tab is muted.
• Mute All Tabs at Once
• Right-click the toolbar icon and choose Mute All Tabs to silence every open tab in one action — great for quickly silencing your browser before a meeting or presentation.

Real YouTube Support

Standard browser muting doesn't update YouTube's player controls — the volume icon stays unchanged and the player behaves inconsistently. Mute Tab Manager directly silences the underlying video element, keeping YouTube's UI in sync. Mute state is automatically re-applied after in-page navigation and page reloads, so YouTube never sneaks audio back in.

• Dark Mode
• The toolbar icon adapts automatically to your system's light or dark theme.
• Lightweight & Private
• No background network requests. No tracking. Mute state is stored in session memory only and is cleared when you close the browser.

Permissions

• Tabs — needed to query and mute tabs
• Storage — stores mute state for the current session only
• Context Menus — adds the right-click toolbar menu
• youtube.com — injects a small script to keep YouTube's player UI in sync with the mute state
