MathGate - Scroll Blocker Swalter Factories توسط

MathGate is a focus-first Firefox extension that interrupts endless scrolling by requiring you to solve a quick math problem before unlocking the next short or reel. Instead of passively consuming content, you actively re-engage your brain between videos, helping reduce mindless scrolling and improve attention.

The extension detects when a new short/reel becomes visible and overlays a clean “white screen” focus mode. This intentional pause removes distracting visuals and gives your brain a reset moment before presenting a math challenge. Only after solving the problem correctly does the next video unlock.

MathGate includes adjustable difficulty levels, so you can choose anything from quick mental math to more challenging problems. This makes it useful whether you just want a light interruption or a more serious focus barrier. The system is designed to be fast, responsive, and minimally intrusive while still breaking addictive scrolling loops.

Key features:

• Smart detection of new shorts/reels on supported platforms
• Math-based gate to unlock the next video
• Clean white screen “focus reset” mode
• Adjustable difficulty settings
• Lightweight and privacy-friendly (no data tracking)

MathGate is ideal for students, developers, or anyone trying to regain control over their time online. By turning passive scrolling into an active task, it helps you stay more aware of how you spend your attention—without completely blocking the content you enjoy.
