Lative - Privacy-First Career Assistant

Lative is a privacy-first, local-first browser extension designed to simplify job and internship applications while keeping you in complete control of your data. Instead of scattered documents and repeated copy-pasting, Lative keeps all your career essentials organized in one place.

Key Features
Professional Links – Store and quickly copy links such as LinkedIn, GitHub, Portfolio, LeetCode, and other professional profiles.
Multiple Email Addresses – Save and manage different email addresses for work, internships, and personal use.
Resume Management – Securely store multiple PDF resumes locally. Resume content is parsed once on your device to enable AI-powered assistance without repeatedly processing the PDF.
Certificate Storage – Keep certificates organized and easily accessible whenever you need them.
Job Bookmark Cart – Save job and internship pages while browsing, including support for a floating "Add Current Page" button for quick bookmarking.
Resume-Aware AI Assistant (Optional) – Use your own Google Gemini API key to access AI features such as:
Resume summaries
Professional profile summaries
Job description comparison
Missing skills analysis
Interview and application response assistance
Current page analysis
Resume-based questions and answers
Privacy First

Lative is built around a privacy-first philosophy:

No account required
No cloud database
No tracking
No unnecessary permissions
No automatic form filling
No automatic application submission

Your career data remains stored locally inside your browser. AI features are completely optional and only send the information required to answer your request when you explicitly initiate an AI interaction using your own Google Gemini API key. API keys are stored locally and are never included in exported backups.

Lative acts as your personal career toolbox-it helps you organize your information, prepare stronger applications, and work more efficiently while ensuring that every application remains fully under your control.
