Hoplite Browser Security Hoplite Industries, Inc. توسط

The Hoplite Active Browser Security Addon is used to help keep clients safe without requiring VPNs, or other invasive software. This Addon helps protect you against online threats, such as links in phishing emails and websites designed to trick you into downloading and installing malicious software that can harm your computer.

While you are surfing on the internet, malicious links and phishing URLs are everywhere. So this addon helps you block those phishing urls and malicious links easily.
Using Hoplite's Active Security Addon will also provide the following benefits for your browsing:

Malvertising Protection
Web advertisements are being increasingly used as vehicles for distributing malware.
A legitimate ad can be infected by a virus or a fraudulent ad can be introduced into a network that places ads on web sites.

Faster Browsing
An ad can slow your computer and use up CPU time by reading and writing cookies, making many connections and downloading unwanted software.
“Malvertising” and other inefficient ads slow your browser’s performance by running processor intensive scripts and by reading and writing many cookies on your computer.

Improved Privacy
Cookies, Spyware and other malware spread through advertising banners can monitor your activities and steal your personal information.

This plugin is intended for either free use, and in conjunction with Hoplite Active Network Defense, and one or more industry compliance programs.
