Grabbit5 0xZeus توسط

Grabbit adds a small floating button to YouTube. One click grabs the video you're watching — no copying links, no shady converter sites.

Features:
- ⬇ Floating download button on watch pages (YouTube + Shorts + mobile layout)
- 🎞 Quality picker — choose the resolution you want before downloading
- 🎵 MP3 / audio-only option for music and podcasts
- 📊 Live progress bar with cancel support
- 🔗 Popup tool to fetch qualities for any pasted YouTube link
- 🕘 Download history, stored locally

Private by design:
Grabbit talks only to a tiny companion server running on your own computer (127.0.0.1), which uses yt-dlp to fetch the video. No accounts, no tracking, no remote servers — your watch activity never leaves your machine.

Setup (one time):
Install the extension, then run the included local server (python3 server.py, requires yt-dlp + ffmpeg). Full instructions are in the project README.

Note: YouTube videos are subject to YouTube's Terms of Service and copyright law — only download videos you own or that are free to download.
