georeference.it Joaquim Santos توسط

georeference.it is a crowdsourcing platform for georeferencing natural history collection specimens from GBIF. Millions of biodiversity records lack geographic coordinates — this extension shows georeferencing status and community-validated coordinates directly on GBIF occurrence pages.

When you visit a GBIF occurrence page, the extension queries the georeference.it API and displays a panel with the georeferencing status, validated coordinates, and a map. No account needed.
