Escape the Algorithm - Social Feed Blocker Ernest Wolfe توسط

Regain control of your time online. Don't let sophisticated algorithms control you.

⚡ In 30 seconds, Escape the Algorithm saves you countless hours of mindless scrolling and autoplay — so YOU decide what you watch, read, and think about online.

🚫 What it blocks
We hide the main feed, stop autoplay, and remove algorithmically suggested content on:
• YouTube (homepage feed, sidebar suggestions, end‑screen recommendations, autoplay)
• 𝕏 / Twitter
• Facebook
• Instagram (incl. Reels)
• TikTok
• LinkedIn
• Pinterest

You still get search, messages, profiles, and posting — just without the infinite‑scroll trap engineered to keep you there.

🎯 Built for intentional browsing
• One‑click toggle per platform — peek at the feed when you actually need it
• 10‑minute auto‑hide timer — if you reveal a feed, it quietly re‑hides itself so you don't disappear for an hour
• Hardcore mode for stricter blocking when you really mean it
• Independent control over YouTube autoplay

🔒 Privacy first — and we can prove it
• Zero tracking. Zero analytics. Zero data collection.
• Everything runs locally in your browser. Your settings never leave your device.
• Fully open source — audit every line of code yourself:

🧠 The mission
The internet should make us smarter, more curious, and happier — not more anxious and more distracted. Escape the Algorithm is a small step toward an internet that's a resource for learning and entertainment instead of a slot machine for attention.
