- Sensitivity can be set from 1 to 5 flashes per second.

- The test starts with the page fully dimmed and gradually increases brightness.
- Users can stop the test as soon as the brightness becomes uncomfortable.
- CalmWeb saves a level 5 percentage points below the selected limit as a safety margin.

- It warns that features may occasionally respond late or stop working because of browser limitations, website changes, extension errors, high system load or other unexpected problems.
- Users are advised to continue using their normal safety measures and leave content that feels unsafe.
- The extension popup remains locked until the notice is acknowledged.
- The I understand button remains disabled for 10 seconds.
- A visible countdown shows when the button will become available.
- Closing the installation notice does not bypass the acknowledgement requirement.
- The acknowledgement is stored locally and is not requested again during normal browser restarts.
