Block Fuzz Anup Parajuli توسط

Block Fuzz helps you use social media intentionally without giving up the parts you actually need.

Facebook and Instagram can be useful for staying in touch, but opening them for one message can quickly turn into scrolling through feeds, Reels, Explore, and profiles. Block Fuzz removes those distractions while preserving essential communication features.

What Block Fuzz does

• Keeps Instagram Direct Messages accessible
• Keeps Facebook Messages accessible
• Optionally allows Instagram and Facebook Stories
• Blocks distracting feeds, Reels, Explore pages, posts, profiles, and other browsing paths
• Replaces blocked content with a customizable motivational page
• Lets you customize your motivational quote and image
• Provides customizable quick alternatives, such as news sites, Wordle, or other intentional activities
• Preserves login, logout, authentication, account recovery, CAPTCHA, and security-verification flows

Designed for intentional use

Block Fuzz doesn't block Facebook or Instagram completely. Instead, it changes how you interact with them. Messages remain available for communication, while common paths to endless scrolling are interrupted.

When you attempt to access blocked content, Block Fuzz redirects you to a distraction-blocked page displaying the current date, your motivational quote, and the alternatives you have chosen.

Privacy

Block Fuzz does not collect your messages, passwords, browsing history, Facebook or Instagram activity, or other personal information. It does not use analytics or telemetry and does not send your activity to a Block Fuzz server.

Your Block Fuzz preferences are stored locally using Firefox extension storage.

Limited website access

Block Fuzz is specifically designed for Facebook and Instagram. Its website permissions are restricted to those services rather than requesting access to every website you visit.

Block Fuzz is an independent extension and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta, Facebook, or Instagram.
