Bitbucket Buddy Hai Le توسط

Transform Bitbucket’s default merge commit messages into clean, readable commits by using the pull request title.

Bitbucket’s default merge messages are verbose and clutter git history. This extension replaces them with the PR title, making commit history easier to read and helping teams follow consistent commit conventions such as Conventional Commits.

Features:
✔ Replace Bitbucket merge commit messages with PR titles
✔ Inject conventional comment labels (suggestion, issue, praise, and more) into PR comment boxes
✔ Works directly in Bitbucket UI
✔ No setup or configuration required
✔ Lightweight and fast

Why use this extension:

Bitbucket does not allow customizing merge commit messages, which leads to noisy and hard-to-read git history. The default format includes unnecessary text like “Merged in <branch>” and “(pull request #X)”, which adds clutter without improving clarity.

This extension removes that noise and uses the pull request title as the commit message, making your git history cleaner, easier to scan, and more meaningful. It also enables teams to follow consistent commit conventions, such as Conventional Commits, without being constrained by Bitbucket’s default format.

Privacy:
This extension only modifies merge commit messages and injects UI elements on Bitbucket pages. It does not collect, store, or transmit any personal or repository data.
