Make YouTube’s Progress Bar Yours

Better Progress Bar replaces YouTube’s standard red progress line with a fully customizable bar that matches your style.

✦ What you can customize

• 15 ready-made themes to get started instantly
• Solid colors, gradients & animated rainbow effects
• Fine-tune thickness, radius, glow, and position
• Choose your scrubber: circle, square, diamond, emoji, GIF, or custom image
• A slim mini bar that stays visible even after YouTube’s controls fade away
• Separate progress & volume bar styling for YouTube Shorts
• A personal theme library with favorites, import, export, sharing, and backups
• Full English & Russian interface with light and dark modes

🔒 Private by design

Better Progress Bar runs only on YouTube pages and keeps your data on your device.

No ads. No analytics. No remote code. No accounts.

Your settings, themes, and uploaded files stay inside your Firefox profile. Themes can be exported as standard JSON files, shared with friends, previewed, backed up, and safely imported whenever you want.

Your progress bar. Your style. Your YouTube.
