Beamo Search Beamo توسط

Make Beamo your default search engine and get fast, clean web results with optional AI answers — without the ad tracking. Beamo Search sends your address-bar searches straight to beamosearch.com, adds a beautiful Beamo new-tab page, a toolbar button, and a right-click "Search Beamo for…" option.

WHAT THE EXTENSION ADDS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
• Default search engine — after a one-time confirmation from Firefox, anything you type in the address bar
opens Beamo Search results. Prefer to keep your current engine? You can also type "beamo" then press Tab (or
Space) to search Beamo just for that one query.
• A clean new-tab page — every new tab opens a distraction-free Beamo search box (light & dark themes
included), with quick links to Beamo Home and Chat, and your account status if you're signed in.
• Toolbar button — one click opens Beamo Search.
• Right-click search — highlight any text on a page, right-click, and choose "Search Beamo for…".

Works on Firefox for desktop and Firefox for Android.

WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU SEARCH
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Beamo Search is a full search engine, not a redirect to someone else's results:
• Fast, relevant web results.
• Optional AI overviews that summarize the answer at the top of the page — with citations, and only when they
actually help.
• An AI Chat mode for follow-up questions and deeper research.
• Rich instant answers built right into the results: live stock & crypto prices, weather, live sports scores,
maps & local places, translation, dictionary definitions, a full scientific calculator, unit and currency
conversions, and more.

PRIVACY FIRST
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
• No ad-tracking cookies and we never sell your data.
• The extension does NOT read, monitor, or inject anything into the other websites you browse. The only page
it interacts with is beamosearch.com itself — and only to show your sign-in status on the new-tab page
(display only; no passwords or login tokens are read or stored).
• Every search simply opens beamosearch.com in a normal browser tab — the same site, the same content, and the
same privacy behavior as visiting Beamo directly.
• Like any search engine you choose, Beamo receives the search terms you submit so it can return results.
That's the only data collection, and Firefox shows it to you up front.

PERMISSIONS, EXPLAINED
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
We keep permissions to the minimum:
• Search & new-tab settings — to set Beamo as your default engine and provide the Beamo new-tab page.
• Context menus — to add the right-click "Search Beamo for…" item.
• Tabs — to open your search in a tab.
• Access to beamosearch.com — only to sync your sign-in status to the new-tab page. No access to any other site.
