In an increasingly complex world, one hand is not enough - we need community to accomplish great projects. The hand lends itself naturally as a symbol for activity and understanding concepts ("grasping").
However, one hand is not enough: communities' building blocks are one-on-one relations between people.
Every meeting of two people can create a win-win situation - in the net and the real world.
