Acerca de este complemento
There is also a very handy way of bulk-changing passwords using the built in domain / original password filtering. A brilliant time saver for those who use large corporate web sites and have to reset their password on dozens of sites regularly.
I was always annoyed by the fact that the Password Manage displays not just one Password but a whole list - this extension removes the need to display any password on screen, and gets rid of the inconvenient "typing off screen". Now your passwords can be as complicated and secure as you always wanted!
Also, it fills in the domain name into the filter so you don't have to look quite so hard. Especially useful for developers who have to work a lot with login pages and different test profiles.
If you work a lot with passwords (who doesn't?) be sure to check out the awesome Saved Password Editor it is quite a good addition and fully compatible with QuickPasswords.
Not to replace the Password Manager, but it uses the Password Manager by removing all the pain from the current process... the objective was to have an easy to use, quick way of retrieving passwords with a minimum of security risks (displaying the passwords on screen is a major issue, especially when you are in a company environment).
The password can now be retrieved via the clipboard or can be inserted into the page directly. QuickPasswords is also able to correct if wrong field names are stored, which can happen if the login form changes.
- Fixed [Bug 25935]"Unified password change..." broken with Firefox 34.0.5.<br>
Changing passwords via the "Unified password change..." button displayed the error "ReferenceError: theSite is not defined." This was caused by some of the fixes for [Bug 25909].
- Improved SSO password change making it resilient against early exits caused by multiple users on the same domain
- Added Feature [Bug 25931]Added a switch for disabling version history tab.
In order to disable the automatic change log, which is displayed when the Add-on is updated: open the Configuration Database
(In Firefox, via entry of about:config in the Address bar; in Thunderbird, open Tb Options / Advanced / General and
click the "Config Editor..." button) - then change the new (boolean) setting
extensions.quickpasswords.update.showVersionPage to false.
