Idea is great, execution is terrible. When attempting to sync across FF and Chrome (the ONLY reason I installed this), it locks up both in Firefox and Chrome. It also screws up the bookmarks when uploading/downloading and puts them into the different browsers in different locations/orders, it gets confused by bookmarks in folders, and to sync more than a thousand bookmarks, they want $30! Dishonest and terrible, I could not get them to give me a refund when it did not work.
Additional: "back up your favorites" ummm Firefox DOES THIS. By itself. Without any extensions. You just have to log into a FF account.
Great addon, PLEASE UPDATE IT TO WORK W/ FF 55+ Puntuado con 2 de 5 estrellas
I love this addon but it no longer works with the new version of FF.
This extension is terrible. Puntuado con 1 de 5 estrellas
Why on earth would you design this thing to run by default on every site? The old extension RightToClick (whatever happened to that?) was the first of it's kind that I ever saw, and it and others like it would run only when you clicked on the icon. That is the ONLY way to do this correctly, otherwise it will break a lot of websites.
PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FIX IT ALREADY Puntuado con 1 de 5 estrellas
Sign and Install just gives a "Requesting check on review status" error. I'm not going to temporarily install the addons I want every time I open FF.
P.S. Mozilla, you guys have totally trashed what was once the leading web browser. What on earth are you guys DOING over there? Partnerships with YAHOO and JAVA, a DYING technology??? What did you do, hire Tim Spain as your director of design??? For fucks sake, Get it together!
Works poorly, gets hung up on old DNS/IP's Puntuado con 2 de 5 estrellas
This extension has become extremely deprecated. It often will get an IP/DNS entry stuck in it somehow, and keeps reporting the same location from an earlier site for all subsequent sites until/if it gets unstuck. I am going to uninstall and just use FlagFox, FlagFox just works.
Good, but it is blocking too much non-advetisment stuff Puntuado con 3 de 5 estrellas
recently i have had to turn uBlock off for numerous legit sites, even some mainstream ones (Facebook, Wikipedia, etc) just to get the normal functions of those sites to work correctly (logins, data entry fields, etc). The detection/blocking algorithm is just too aggressive. I might start looking at alternative blockers.Esta valoración es de una versión anterior del complemento (1.12.1).
NoScript kind of sucks now Puntuado con 2 de 5 estrellas
The Whitelist is useless. Even if I add a site to it, it still will arbitrarily block whole elements of that site until I individually allow all those elements. THAT IS NOT A WHITELIST!!!! A whitelist is a list of sites to COMPLETELY IGNORE as "exceptions." I am close to just being done with NoScript, but it still serves a purpose. But with Java on the way out, in a few years this will be literally pointless, as all browsers are dumping Java and JS and Flash are the next to go.
From a dev response to another review: "The point of NoScript is *allowing* scripts on sites you trust. You don't need to switch it off or restart the browser to let a site run its scripts." Uhhh, that'd be great if it ACTUALLY WORKED. It is a very bad model to just block everything and then let you choose what to load. It should be be more refined and block things that are probable to be harmful, like a combination of NoScript and Web of Trust.
EDIT: I dropped NoScript and started using uMatrix, which is made by the guy who makes uBlock Origin. It works much more smoothly than NoScript.
Terrible, locks up Firefox, waste of money Puntuado con 1 de 5 estrellas
This extension is beyond terrible.
First, the free version is only enough for 1,000 or so bookmarks, which is pretty small for a power user. Paid version is unlimited, but its $45!
Second, it is poorly written and locks up both Chrome and Firefox. At first, it just was locking up whenever I tried to sync new bookmarks to or from either browser. I FINALLY got it to start working....and now every time I open Chrome or Firefox, both lock up on black screen for 30 seconds to a couple minutes before I can start using them! Both browsers also randomly lock up for 10-30 seconds. If I disable EverSync, all those issues go away. I have asked for a refund twice now and each responding email was questions about my problem and excuses but no refund.

I liked it at first, namely because it allowed me to remove the close tab buttons that now show up on every tab in FF w/out any way to turn them off (infuriating!). But then FF got very slow whenever loading a new tab. The minute I turned TabMix off it started behaving normally again. So I guess i won't be using this anymore and will have to just get used to constantly closing tabs by accident. So furious right now.Esta valoración es de una versión anterior del complemento (0.4.1.8).
