This was my #1 favorite add-on, and yes as others have written it stopped working in Nightly some versions ago (we're now at 26). Is it possible to fix so it works in the current Nightly? Like this add-on far and away better than the separate window Nightly opens. Thank you if you can make it work again.

Nice (:

The name is difficult to remember anyway.

Some keywords should be added to match the "firefox downloads tab" Google search.

Very impressive add-on, one of the best I have seen in quite some time.
It's already 5 stars for me but it would be absolutely perfect if you can have each line to be taller (so it could accommodate a larger "pause" and "delete" button). It's easier to click it that way. It's already 5 stars, but thanks if that's within your future feature list.

The Best! Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

Best downloader addon! But...
1. If DM tab already opened, then Ctrl+J or Menu -> Downloads does nothing. Must activate DM tab.
2. There are other excellent addon for standard Downloads - https://addons.mozilla.org/ru/firefox/addon/downloads-context-menu - Context Menu. Can you add something like this to DM?

Almost perfect. Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

This add-on is almost perfect. It must have a delete downloaded files, also delete and delete from list. Not only delete from list.

Excellent add-on. Does just what I needed.

Initially I was put off a bit by the name, thinking that it might not be in English - so tried it last of all the download manager addons. Turns out that it is the best of all - and yes all in English.

Thank you for your work. It makes firefox downloads much easier to manage.

Improvement suggestions Puntuado con 3 de 5 estrellas

Suggetions for improvement:

1. add delete button in context menu of download manager on file and delete the files in recycle bin, not permanently

2. make buttons much bigger (pause/resume/retry & cancel/remove) + higher columns

3. option to open download manager in own window not only tab

Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas

To be more constractive. Tab does not close when download finished even if setting require so. Also it would be nice to open tab in background(optional).

I like the look of it but I may be missing something in the options. I have "open the download manager" when starting a download selected but the download tab doesn't open until I use Tools > Downloads and I can't seem to get the progress dialog at all.

I'm using Firefox 4.0.1

Great Download Manager Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

This is a great alternative to the download managers out there all ready. I hope KaiRo continues the good work.

Very good add-on, and agree with the suggestions from Terepin, missing two features:
- Open DM in background
- Close DM after download is completed.
Thank you.

I didn't check the code for those two specifically, but I think I made both to follow the preferences that exist for those things on the normal download manager, so actually both of those should already work if you switch the correct prefs, which you can find in normal Firefox download manager docs.

nooooo....you totally get me wrong or others who suggested you to change the name of this great addon. i didn't mean to offense you or any kind of great cultures in the world. let me put it in this way: what if i name an addon with some Chinese character that your pc can't even recognize?i love this addon, and i am sure that we all do, that's why we suggested you to change the name.P.S. i've fallen in love with the name, don't change it, ok? and i will keep telling friends to try it.

Hehe, the more you use the name, the more it starts to stick on you ;-)

Some suggestions Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

This add-on is fantastic. It looks great, and I'm really happy it has a favicon, rather than the blank one for the default download manager. However, I have one request when it comes to features, if you can find time to implement it.

When pinned as an App Tab, the download manager tab becomes constantly highlighted during a download. This works well for sites like Facebook and Gmail, but with the download manager, Firefox thinks every change in percentage is something it needs to notify me about. And so, it remains highlighted throughout the download. Is there any way to have it become highlighted only when a download has finished, failed, etc, rather than constantly being highlighted?

Oh, and opening in a background tab would be great, too, as others have requested.

Great work, though! I'm excited to see where you take this add-on.

Hmm, the app tab behavior is interesting, I hadn't tested that. I'll need to look at what Firefox looks for, there - if it's tab title changes, then I wonder if there's a way I can detect being in an app tab and then only change the title when the count of active downloads changes, which I guess makes sense for flashing.

Great add-on, unfortunately I'm missing two features:
1. Open DM in background.
2. Close DM after download is completed.
Also, I'm using userstyle (http://userstyles.org/styles/45538/firefox-4-in-content-tabbed-download-manager) and nav bar is still there after first opening. I have to switch to another tab to hide it. It's working OK until a restart Firefox again.

No idea about userstyle, but usually, it should only show the nav bar the very first time you open it and then always, even after a restart, show without it. The very first launch is unfortunately a necessity with the current infrastructure, but that may improve in future Firefox versions.

Amazing, it works very well and keeps things simple! I'd like to request a few things, if possible:
1. As KaaMos mentioned, it would be great if the tab would open in the background, as opposed to being switched to immediately, when a download begins.

2. Would it be possible to use the Ctrl-J shortcut normally reserved for opening the original download manager to switch to the download tab when it's already open? The shortcut works fine if you want to open the tab, but if you switch to another one and want to go back, the shortcut does nothing and you have to click the tab to return to it.

3. Also, would it be possible to add a "Clear List" button on the manager page as is found on the native download manager? Having to click the little trash can on multiple finished downloads can get tedious.

Thanks for the feedback, will look into your suggestions.

Note that "Clear List" is already available inside the "List" menubutton in the toolbar - I figured it's strange to have all kinds of things in there that act on the list and have "Clear List" still outside it.

Could you add an option to open this Download Manager on a background tab instead of an active tab, please?
It would be good, since I can still surfing other places while downloads are working on a background tab.

Also, would be good to add some right click features that are available via Download / List menus only.

I found as little bug, when opened in tab, Tools menu link / Navigarion button can't focus Download Manager.

Finally, I agree with "Schiway", Add-on name is quite difficult to keep in mind.

Thanks for all!

Excellent, this UI is much more usable than the one found in the standard Download manager. Still a bit rough in the details, but a great addon still :).
