I would like it that when you right click on the selected text to translate, that the tranlation in the context menu is more than one line long if the text is more than fits in the box. Although you can hover the mouse over the text to see more, I would prefer if the box just scaled to fit (i.e. multiple lines of text, rather than the '...'), or if, in the settings for this extension, the option for this was provided.

LastPass Password Manager

Ability to select individual form elements. Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas

Regarding form filling, I would like the ability to select individual form elements by right cllicking on the input box and selecting the element (perhaps, > LastPass Fill Forms > [Default] > [Select Element] > (list of elements, choosing e.g. [City/Town]). This would help with easily filling out form elements LastPass fails to automatically fill. In addition, I would like to be able to add multiple email addresses to a single profile, selecting one as the default (or being prompted to select from a list).

Tab Utilities

Tab deletion on install. Puntuado con 3 de 5 estrellas

This may be a great addon, may not be. I installed this addon because I wanted to compare it to the addon Tab Mix Plus, since I wanted to know why this addon could have more features but be so much less popular than Tab Mix Plus. I installed it when also having the addon Tab Mix Plus running (which in hindsight I know was a pretty stupid thing to do), and although on restart I immediately got a warning from Tab Mix Plus telling me to disable it due to it conflicting with Tab Mix Plus, I had already lost all my tabs in the current session. Fortunately, thanks to Session Manager, I got them all back. However, due to this experience I can no longer trust this addon. Thus I immediately deleted it and so I have not used it since, due to my poor initial experience with this addon. I cannot trust an addon that can cause the deletion of data in my brower, even if it is due to conflicts, because as a user you do not know that there are conflicts until you install the addon. I once used Tabberwocky and Tab Mix Plus at the same time, and that was fine. Tab Mix Plus just asked which parts of the functionalities that conflicted I wanted to use. Yet again, Tab Mix Plus was the addon making sure that my Firefox experience would be stable. Hence I trust Tab Mix Plus over the other tab addons I have tried, including Tab Utilities. I prefer trust over features. Although my experience may be very different from the regular tab addons user, I am now starting to see reasons why Tab Mix Plus is the more popular addon.

Tab Mix Plus

Freezing issues. Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

EDIT: Thanks for the fast response. I wish other developers were so good at responding to these review sections. I've installed the latest version and will see over the coming days/weeks whether the issue has been resolved. I'll be back if the problem persists. Thank you.

I am getting a problem where (particularly after awakening the computer from sleep mode), I cannot switch tab pages by clicking on the tabs. I click on them and nothing happens; I stay on the current page (and selecting tabs in Firefox Panorama view causes Firefox to crash). I can however still switch tabs with the mouse gestures addon I use (FireGestures), so I know this is a tab interface problem, and not a problem with how Firefox is actually running behind the scenes. Apart from not being able to switch tabs from clicking on them, otherwise Firefox works fine when this problem occurs. The problem does not happen all the time, but does happen on seemingly random occasions. This is the only tab addon I have running, so I assume this addon is causing the problem. I'll wait until the next version hits and see whether the problem persists (I don't want to get on the development build cycle if I can avoid it). Restarting the brower always solves the problem (sometimes, putting the computer back into sleep and waking it up again also solves the problem), so that is what I will be doing for the time being. I do not just like using this addon, I need it. So simply disabling it is not a possibility. This addon is essential to frustration-free browsing for me, hence the five stars. Even with this issue I am having, it is still easily deserving of five stars. Plus I greatly appreciate how the developer resonds to this comment section.

Tab Counter

Needs to regain support for Firefox Panorama users. Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

EDIT: Thanks; this problem is solved in the current version release. I have changed my rating in response.

I loved this addon, but now it does not display the total number of tabs (not just the ones in the current group), it is useless to me. I open a new group when the number of tabs on the screen becomes difficult to manage (as is the point of Firefox Panorama), so I know know how many tabs are right in from of me; it is the total number I need to worry about!!!

I only really need the total number of tabs in all groups combined, as this addon used to do. However, I understand that other people will desire the need for displaying the total number of tabs in the current group. I would prefer if the user was given the option to display both, one or the other (i.e. if there are 24 tabs and 8 in the current group, the option to display '24', '8' or '8/24', like natty_7 suggested.

Really Good Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

OK, it's not perfect. You do need to keep turning stealthy on and off until you find a proxy that works/works quickly (it takes 2-3 tries on average for me). But when you do find a good proxy it works really well.

But the extension DOES work, and this is definitely the best solution for people who just want to access services not available in your country, because this extension does all the hard work for you - no need to set up any proxies yourself like all the other proxy extensions I've found require you to do. This extension takes away a lot of hassle for people like me who just need basic-level proxy functionality.

Keep up the good work Stealthy! Thank you!

Window and Tab Limiter

An esssential addon. Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

I highly recommend this indispensable addon. This addon is essential for anyone who finds midway through internet surfing that you have so many tabs open that managing all of them begins to take more time than you actually spend looking at the content on the web pages. Even worse, your computer may slow down and you start to loose essential information in the morass of research and less important information.

I recommend this addon to anyone who has 20+ tabs open at one time and knows that they don't use all of them regularly, but never gets round to closing them or finishing the task you need to do before you close it (or simply has a habit of opening more tabs than they close). This addon forces you to do what you need to do before the workload becomes too large and unmanageable. It keeps you on your toes. It forces you to keep the 'quality' of your tabs high, because you can only keep open the ones that are essential for you to complete your task. It also forces you to bookmark tabs you will need again in a while, rather than keeping the tab open, so you don't end up with an overload of open tabs that you are not currently utilising.

I recommend using this addon with Tab Counter (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tab-counter/) which tells you how many tabs you have open so you know when you are about to reach your specified tab limit. That's a tiny extension; it hardly slows your browser down at all.

I recommend using the "Force Mode" option for this addon. If you need to raise the tab limit temporarily, simply change the tab limit in this addon's options menu, then change it back again to keep the pressure on you to keep your number of tabs down. You will find that some tasks require a larger tab limit than others; you need to keep changing the tab limit to suit your current task. If you don't like changing the tab limit, use the "Suggestion Mode" option, which will continuously bug you to keep your tab number down if you exceed your limit, but allows you to exceed it temporarily; if you find that you keep opening tabs despite the addon buggging you to close some tabs, then you are like me and need to switch to using the "Force Mode" option ^_^.

For entertainment browsing, the "Silent Mode" option can be useful so that content that you have lost interest in disappears automatically so that you can always focus on the content that you are currently interested in, without the need to manage your tabs.

This is a fantastic addon and I would like to thank the developer for updating the browser so that current and future people who find themselves with too many tabs have such an effective solution to this problem.

This is an essential part of the Firefox experience.

What if I am on a site I've time limited, have to answer the phone, come back 20 minutes later, and my time's run out? Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas

Say I am browsing a site that I have set up to only be viewable 30 minutes a day. I get distracted away from the computer after browsing for two minutes, but I have the blocked site as my active tab and keep the computer running. I then come back in half an hour and all my time has run out.

What I'd like is an option for Leechblock to redirect you to a "Are you still there?" screen and stop counting down the time if you are on a site you've time limited, but have remained inactive for a certain period of time (say, 5 minutes). You then click on a button on this redirected page to get back to the site you've time limited, and the timer resumes counting how long you've been browsing for.

If you don't get what I mean, there's a Google Chrome extension called Stayfocusd that does exactly this (Leechblock is far superior to that extension in most other ways btw ^_^ ).Otherwise, an excellent addon!

Window and Tab Limiter

More options please!! Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas

This review is for the "Force Mode" option. I'd give the "Suggest Mode" 2 stars (it's too irritating to work above your tab limit; please check my previous review of this addon for more on that option) and the "Silent" option nothing as it's useless unless you're extremely forgetful as you loose tabs you've kept open because you want to keep them. I'm liking the "Force" option at the moment. I started on the "Suggest" option and found I'm too lazy to sort out tabs unless it's forced upon me and I hate the warning message dialog box appearing all the time.In the "Force" option, I'd like more options though. First, I'd like the option to determine the window limit separate from the tab limit, so that if I want to do some research, I can do it in a new window and be able to open the same number of tabs as my other window. Secondly, I'd like an unobtrusive popup to come up when you open your last allowed tab so you know you're about to reach your limit (and so avoid having to interact with the horrible warning message dialog). Thirdly, I'd like to be able to close my tabs when the warning message comes up by actually closing my tabs (i.e. not in the warning box) as it is hard when you set the tab limit at 100 to find the tab you're looking at in Firefox in the warning message dialogue (especially as one lists horizontally and the other lists vertically). This add on is a life saver. I am rather liking the "Force" mode though. Fortunately for this addon, it takes a restart of Firefox to disable an addon, in contrast to Chrome, else it would be too easy to disable when you're lazy. EDIT: I've found a Chrome extension that does the "Force Mode" in a way I prefer to this addon: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/kokmfemecmlekdnjllgobeplngdfifie - this method prevents you having to sift through the list of tabs in the warning message every time, because most of the time the tab you want to close is right in from of you in the tab bar anyway. This Chrome addon simply displays a message when you try to open a tab past your tab limit, telling you that you have reached your tab limit and that you cannot open any more tabs. The only improvement I would make to this way of doing things is that I would prefer the message to be displayed by popup, so that you can just click anywahere to remove the message, and not have to click on the "OK" every time. That extension also has a useful icon on the menu bar telling you how many tabs you have open, and the tab limit you chose, so that you know when you are about to reach your limit.

Adblock Plus

The best addon by far Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

No maintenance required; this addon does eveything perfectly and requires zero maintenance from the user, if like me you just want all web ads to be blocked. I use one site where it doesn't block the ads before videos, but I'm not complaining. Using this addon is like living a dream.

Quick Search Bar

Absolutely Phenomenal Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

This addon completely transformed my web experience. I can't thank the developer enough. I'd give 15 stars if I could.Just a quick question: when I upgraded to Firefox 4, all my nice search engine names were replaced by just the favicons. I can't find the option any more to get the names back (only the option for excessive search engines). I have four identical Ws (English Wikipedia, English Wiktionary, Japanese Wikipedia, Japanese Wiktionary) and I keep forgetting which one is which. So does the option to display the names still exist? I only use six search engines so the search bar is more than wide enough to display the search engine names. Once again thank you developer for the fantastic addon!! ^_^

EDIT: Thanks for solving this problem. Amazing addon!!

Xmarks Sync

Bookmark sync works just fine (i don't use the rest of the features) Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas

The only reason I installed this addon is that I have 100,000 bookmarks and was afraid to lose them, so I only use bookmark sync and that's it. I've had a few problems in the past and slightly more than usual recently, but nothing that wasn't quickly fixable by playing with the options in Xmarks options. So I still trusted the addon; but now I see all these negative reviews and am getting concerned at whether trusting this addon with all my bookmarks is really a good idea. I've just checked some folders at random and the store of them online at my.xmarks.com and everything appears to be fine. So I just wanted to say that I'm happy with the service still, and am just concerned by the number of negative reviews this addon has received recently. So negligible problems since upgrading to FireFox 4 (nothing a simple re-uploading to the server in the Xmarks options wouldn't fix) and I'm still using it happily, just with closer scrutiny.

So the core feature of Xmarks still seems to be operating as usual on my end.

And the web discovery features have transformed my web experiences in the past; for those I am eternally grateful.

I am concerned at whether anyone at Xmarks actually reads these reviews anymore, however, considering that no developer ever seems to reply any more. Perhaps it's too popular for one-on-one responses, but it remains a concern.

Window and Tab Limiter

I find the warning messages too intrusive in the "Suggest" mode; I suggest greying out the new tab buttons when the tab limit is reached rather than the current warning message system, or alternatively, displaying a non-intrusive popup reminder that can be clicked on for the tab list, or simply ignored so that it does not disrupt your work in progress. Puntuado con 2 de 5 estrellas

I'm in the same situation as kinecticrob. I like to have ~200 tabs open but would like to use this extension to prevent me reaching 900 tabs and it all becoming unmanageable. The "Suggest" option is just about satisfactory for what I'm looking for, although I think it needs major improvements. I suggest please that the warning message only comes up every time you open a new tab (and NOT every time a tab reloads, or you click on a link in the tab), to prevent it becoming too much of an annoyance, and effectively "bricking" FireFox. The developer says that you can carry on working with the "Suggest" option; this is not the case; it effectively still forces you to close tabs i.e. it's too intrusive to be just a reminder, because the warning message comes up again whenever you click on any link on the page. Also if you open tabs in quick sussesion (i.e. through a session resore), you shouldn't get 200 warning messages; that's just ridiculous; add a "do this to all" tick box to the warning box please. But the functionality I'm really looking for is one like on my iPhone 3GS. On the 3GS, the "new window/tab" option greys out when you reach the maximum tab limit (on the phone it's 8). I love this system, because it is much, much less irritating than the warning message approach this addon takes. The thing I do find annoying on the iPhone though is that if a link opens automatically in a new tab it overwrites the oldest tab. Instead of that with this addon I'd prefer it to just open in a new tab (i.e. temporarily raising the tab limit for just these "automatically opening in new tab" type tabs, but not allow further navigation in these tabs until you're once again on or below the tab limit - not using an intrusive warning message, just display a notice as a popup like when Firefox asks if you want it to remember a password for you). I know the iPhone just has the system due to technological limitations, but I really like the system and think that it would apply well to the users of the "Suggest" feature of this addon. This addon barely gives me what I require, but I could not browse without it. So I sincerely thank the developer for developing the addon, but I'm hoping please for major improvements in future updates. EDIT: Since editing this review a number of times, I have a different, simpler suggestion. In the "Suggest" mode, just make the warning message a non-intrusive popup (that you can CHOOSE to click on to display the tabs list) that goes away after a few seconds (or perhaps when you click on anything but it), so you can just carry on working. That way, you still are reminded that you have too many tabs open, but it doesn't disrupt your train of thought and work in progress.Anyone else have any suggestions to avoid having intrusive popups? Any solution without intrusive popups in the "Suggest" mode would be my perfect reminder system. Thanks again to the developer for creating this addon that's essential for those who have the tendency to open tabs at a faster rate than closing them without thinking about it.
