Very Useful But Needs Way of Turning On/Off Puntuado con 3 de 5 estrellas

This is a useful add-on but it needs an option to be able to turn it off when you don’t want to use it. As it works now, there are times when I don’t want to use it but it is always active, getting between me and the server I want to use and slowing down my browsing (too frequently I was getting a message saying “waiting on Superfish” when browsing). Since there was no way for me to turn it off when I wasn‘t using it and I didn’t want it slowing down my system, I finally uninstalled it. If it had a way to leave it off and turn it on only when needed, I would have probably left it installed.

I don’t know why one reviewer said it was impossible to remove. On my system it showed up on my list of add-ons and I simply uninstalled it. I haven’t seen any trace of it since then.

TooManyTabs - Saves Your Memory

One of the Best, Most Useful Extensions...Simply Terrific!! Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

This is one of the 3 or 4 most useful extensions in all of Firefox in my opinion (and YES, it IS compatible with Tab Mix Plus). It provides superb functionality and is a must have for those who, like me work with large numbers of tabs (or even with more than just a few tabs). It is far superior to “Taboo” because it allows you to remove your tabs from active Firefox memory (which Taboo doesn’t do) but still allows you to conveniently organize them.

Not having all those tabs in memory (but still conveniently accessible to you yet still well organized and with their titles easily visible to you in the “Too Many Tabs” display area) allows you to keep your Firefox memory low and its performance fast. It’s also MUCH more convenient than having to bookmark tabs. I have 37 other extensions installed (including such key ones as Noscript, Tab Mix Plus and Adblock Plus, etc.) and haven’t had any compatibility issues with any of them. A few more features (such as multi-row capability mentioned by others and also a “Search” of tab names) would make it even better but it’s great the way it is now.

As an added bonus, it provides an easy method of transporting tabs from one profile to another profile in Firefox. Simply make sure TMT is installed in both the sending and receiving profiles and send the tabs (the ones you want copied) to TMT in the sending profile. Then, shut down FF and copy your “places.sqlite” file from the sending profile to the receiving profile. The next time you open FF with the receiving profile, the TMT tabs will have been migrated over to the receiving profile and you can either keep them in TMT there or load them from TMT directly back into FF as active tabs (obviously this works best if you haven't already made other changes to the "places.sqlite" file in your receiving profile which could get overlaid). It could hardly be easier. I just love this extension.

Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

This is a great extension but it badly needs the capability to do an "ad hoc" or "immediate" one time back-up. Right now, if you want to do an immediate back-up, you have to change the scheduled back-up to the current time, let the back-up take place then change the sheducled time back to your original schedule. It should be easy enough to select an "immediate" back-up from say, the right click on the FEBE status bar icon.

Great and Useful Extension! Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

This is a great extension, very helpful! It is one of my Firefox favorites. One change I would like to see which would be even more helpful (and should be easy to do) is to make the icon more distinguishable among the different profiles.

For example, I often inadvertently leave the profile set to “profile 2” or “profile 3” when I really want it in profile one.

The tiny words saying “profile 1” etc in the status bar don’t catch my attention well enough. Changing the icon for each profile would help enormously. This doesn’t even have to be a change in the style of the icon, simply a color change would be enough.

For example, leave the icon” green” for “profile 1” as it is now, change the icon to “red” for ”profile 2”, “blue” for “profile 3”, etc. That would be a simple enhancement and would help enormously.
