When it worked it was GREAT, but... Puntuado con 1 de 5 estrellas

When it worked it was GREAT, but since version 36 something about the permissions has changed and the extension no longer works as it once did. It's probably a copy right issue as I used to use it on private account sites, but no longer and any site which uses characters other than letters and numbers in their URL, this extension can no longer read them. Sad it was a good extension and for all of us who donated, we can't see where or how it contributed because it looks like we paid to get it killed.

Minimal Site Block

Puntuado con 1 de 5 estrellas

Without a simple to access GUI or installation process where the icon is inserted somewhere we can easily drag it to where we want it, this add-on is only for the tiny few who will understand what to do with it let alone the RAR file on the author's support site.

Easy Notes

Puntuado con 2 de 5 estrellas

I don't mind the Facebook login thingy, but the notes we make per page are only accessible when you're on that page. Also when you close the browser, you loose the notes. Oh well back to copy+paste into notepad.exe...

Shortcut Keys for Google Search

Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

Excellent, though I didn't want another Add-on, I wish these features were already built into Google or Chrome for that matter. It makes searching for recent events a lot easier than hunting through stuff as far back as 10 years in all the hundreds and even millions of results.

Silent download in Firefox 19 Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas

For the better part it still works fine on some sites but for others, it downloads silently. It doesn't even show up in Firefox's download history, nor does it show up on my Downloader Statusbar add-on. But it isn't for all sites. The sites it works on, it captures any media (video + audio) and not just video and used with the Download status bar, we can pause, or cancel, open folder. When it downloads silently, the Download Status bar activates but without any of the custom appearance settings I set and there is no button for the current download. Just the bar, no download progress, or file options. That aside it works great for online streaming sites to save files with no download links. Works great on Jango and even saves some iD3 tag info.

Download Statusbar

Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

It works fine in Firefox v19, but the way it reacts is different now. Still works as before but it doesn't keep track of progress. For me I get a white box with the video title and it's progress is listed as 0kb. I turned sound notification on, so when it goes bleep... I immediately notice the once white box has turned green (custom colour scheme) and barely a second after that, it disappears. Maybe I have to adjust the disappear time again.

waiting for update Puntuado con 3 de 5 estrellas

It used to work like a charm all functions and features, but now it needs an update to address randomly occuring issues like not cropping, not showing edit menu, not removing focus for objects (I drew an arrow and could not drop it in place it was stuck to the pointer), and the biggest problem everyone else seems to have, it can't save directly using the Save button. Sometimes the other bugs do not occur but to get around the not saving button, use their Temporary storage solution, a bit of a hassle, but from there, it gives you a link you can easily view online and R click to save as.

Below average availability... Puntuado con 2 de 5 estrellas

It did actually work once, but since then I suppose its popularity has increased so that the load to its webservers can no longer handle the requests. The biggest flop was its inability to copy screens the way we see and interact with them. It basically saved each portion of the page as an image instead of a standard text document formating. And in cases where the document failed to fill perfectly within its predefined borders, text often got cut horizontal wise in half as in an image. In a document text that do not fit on one page get pushed to the 2nd page, but not so here. They get chopped!!! Also best not to expect it to do a page with lots of ads and redirect scripts or scrolls down more than a screen or two. I hated that fact and just resorted to using Fireshot to capture whole pages as image files that do not CHOP lines in half.

Image Toolbar

Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas

Its okay, but it doesn't work with NoScript, and it would be nice if it included an auto sequential naming utility.

It can be overkill in some cases and not doing enough in other cases. It blocks scripts from other add-ons as well, renderring them useless or something we need to individually active (image toolbar, webmail adblocker, map+ ) per page/site we visit. That is very annoying that it would block scripts from your own system. While on sites that have annoying scripts to jump you all over the place, it can't block them. We know those sites, we click on one thing expecting something when something else loads up instead. Funny it doesn't recognize those types of script. Also with each new update something else gets turned on renderring sites we once visited in the past un-operatable. The MAJORITY of people who use this add-on do NOT know what each individual script on our pages do, and thats what this add-on is missing, it can only select and block the name of the add-ons, but its a hit and miss game to figure out what each script does and do we need it. Would be nice if we could get a preview of what each script does so we can easily decide if it should be blocked or not. The names of the scripts do not really show what the script does. ie: this add-on can also block 128-256 bit banking encryptions, renderring our banking sites useless or un-accessible.
