Acerca de este complemento
Visit any YouTube page. Click the '+' button icon in the menu under the video at the bottom-right (has a red underline in first screenshot above) and it will open a frame (second screenshot) containing all the comments sorted by most likes (thumbs ups).
I try to update this addon when possible, but if you want to be sure of having the latest version, here is the userscript : http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/154869
User comments are often funny and informative, they can provide current news related even to videos that were made a long time ago. The problem is, with the way things are set up, they're not ordered in a useful or meaningful way and are tedious to use by clicking the 'Load More' button or having to open a separate page with 'all comments'. This script makes it simple to read the genuinely most liked comments (not the artificial results with YouTube's sorting method). Best of all, the more comments there are, the better your results.
For a long time Youtube showed comments listed from newest to oldest. More recently, they have a top comments section that usually contains 2 comments, but if if you look carefully, in most cases, they're actually not the most liked comments. They've set up a weird system that spammers can exploit to position their text ads at the top to make them more visible.
The third screenshot above is an image of the Top Comments for the same video being used in the other screenshots of this page and these are results of the YouTube sorting method - an example of what's wrong. These comments have 22 and 13 likes, but compared to 'all comments' combined for the video, they're not even really close to the top. There are 14 other comments each with greater than 22 likes. Using this script, we can see the real top comments.
There was a Greasemonkey userscript that took all user comments and sorted them from highest to lowest rank according to the number of likes they've gotten. That script was nice, but difficult to use, so I made it easier to access by keeping it on the same page, at the push of a button and located under the video. This is really a combination of two abandoned scripts that have been updated and put together.
This script is in alpha and works with probably >90% of YouTube videos, it still needs more testing.
