Super - but, I agree with cozzy, hard to find Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas
a great tool but like other members of the FF community I do have problems in finding the downloaded Add-ons, especially when, like in this case, the icon is completley different from the one you'd expect. And I only found it because of cozzis tip to look at the BOTTOM of the screen (!). Thanks for that one. I'd never have guessed...
Otherwise most Add-ons are really great and - like the Webdeveloper for me (I'm a Webdesigner) - a huge benefit. Thanks for the and effort and work.

Great but a lil annoying Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas
I love the instant posting and all of that. It is just one thing. Every time you make a post, it secretly puts in "Powered by ScribeFire" That can get a little annoying. But hey. I am not complaining.Esta valoración es de una versión anterior del complemento (1.4.2).
Great tool! Lack only 1 function, though Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas
Great tool! I had no trouble at all getting it to work on my Wordpress blog. The only downside I can find is that there is no support for the "read more" function. I would like to be able to post an introductory text on the blog, where people have to click "Read more" to read the whole article. Very nice and easy interface, in my opinion.Esta valoración es de una versión anterior del complemento (1.4.2).
System color display in Firefox Puntuado con 2 de 5 estrellas
Concerning Wolfger annoyance (which I also encountered, in an identical context). The problem is not (only) with the extension. It\'s a widespread bug in Firefox. When using inverted system colors (windows dark, text white), some \"portions\" of Firefox recognize the change, others don\'t. For example, try and open the \"add-ons menu; you will see the title of inactive extensions, because it is grayed out by default; but there will be invisible titles for active extensions!. And this occurs in spite of the fact that under \"options->content-> colors\" one selects \"use system colors\". Equally, the tooltips do not recognize the _background_ color as chosen in the systems \"display properties\"... Anyway, things are even worse in Netscape, Opera, Explorer: they don\'t even allow _you_, the _user_, to override the defaults of the page you are loading... Solution? Two, less radical than the alternative of Wolfger. 1. Under \"display->appearence->advanced\", modify the element of the theme named \"window\" (from the drop-down menu), in particular \"font\". Instead of using \"white\" for font, put a light shade of grey. You can also darken the \"color\" of the \"window\" to darker, such as to increase contrast. What you get, is a font of a color visible in Firefox\'s \"portions\" which do not obey the system colors, including add-ons (my biggest annoyance was related to Scrapbook, which is equally colorblind (typing and notes titles equally!). The result is barely satisfactory but you keep your dark windows (which are quite neat, especially for an autumnal theme - I used a Longhorn dark variety). 2. Give up your dark windows, and keep all the rest. Therefore, you inver the colors for \"window\" and \"font\", in the \"window\" element of the theme. Everything will look as the theme is, except for that applications will have the regular whitish windows (BTW, why is it taken for granted that one should type/write black on white and not the other way around ?...). The compensation is that buggy applications which ignore/mess up the system display setting will still be usable... Cheers, M.Esta valoración es de una versión anterior del complemento (1.4.2).
Fantastic, but annoying Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas
This add-on deserves a 10, but I had to mark it down a couple notches because of some extremely annoying bugs that I just discovered today. I changed the color scheme of my computer to white printing on a dark (and in some cases black) background. So now today ScribeFire is virtually worthless. The text entry box is white, but it grabs my preference for white text, making everything I type invisible. The side bar has the opposite problem: it's black to match my theme, but it *didn't* take my preference for white text, so my list of blogs and tags is likewise invisible. So now I have to choose between my favorite add-on and the color scheme I like. Or choose to patch the add-on, if I can find the source and the time...
I'm really only upset because this add-on is so great, I don't know if I can live without it...
The only problem I have ... Puntuado con 3 de 5 estrellas
Is that you need to have an image on an FTP server or you need to have it on a url. What I think Windows Live Writer beats ScribeFire on is the image manipulation. With Live Writer you just simply find the picture and click on it...
Am Really Loving It Now Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas
I tried Scribefire a while ago, but could never get it to work with non-blogspot blogger weblogs, so I gave up. (Couldn't get the right URL codes to make Scribefire recognize them.) But I decided to try it again, and it was able to recognize at least ONE of my off-blospot blogs, so I was able to get the correct feed URL and apply that to my other blogs. Now I can post to blogger, wordpress, and livejournal all at once (finally!) - Am very happy now. Could use a few small feature enhancements, but I'm not complaining. BTW, if you want it to recognize your non-blogpost blogger weblogs - use this link: http://www.blogger.com/feeds/YOURBLOGNUMBER/posts/defaultEsta valoración es de una versión anterior del complemento (22.214.171.124).
I would use this a lot, if... Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas
This tool works great, after I login into Blogger in another tab/window. Of course, at that point, it is easier (and more effective) to use Blogger directly.
Maybe someday . . . .
After some experimentation, and upgrade or two of ScribeFire, I found out that if I changed to the 'Live Preview' display/mode, posting worked.
With this change (upgrade?) (bug fix?) I consider this a useful tool. It works best for simple posts, "Here's a quote from an interesting post over there at this link" type of thing, but that might just be because that is the way I use it.
This is a Great Effort Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas
I have been trying to migrate back to Ubuntu from XP.
WLW for Windows is definitely the best Blogging tool out there. But for Ubuntu or for the Linux world out there, no WLW-Wine implementation is available. Scribefire is a great effort by Performancing. It allows file/image upload,technorati/UTW tags, Live Previews, Pinging, and delicious bookmarking. Its more than Basic. I must say, this is the best cross-platform blog editor out there. If you want to see some examples, check out:-
Why the long faces? Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas
I've used SF for a few months now and it's been one of the easiest and most useful tools I have. In fairness, I don't do a lot of style editing to the text. For me, this is a way of quickly posting a text blog without having to log in anywhere. On the other hand, if I had to edit the font and text styles each time I posted, I'd be suicidal. Your blog should format the font and text style the way you want it. If I'm going to add video etc, I'd probably go ahead and log in anyway, but for day to day "journal" syle blogging, this tool is thumbs up.
btw, I use Blogger and Livejournal with no problems.

I could not get it to work with my blogger account. If it can't make it easy to use one of the most basic blog hosts on the web, it isn't much of an extension really.
From the forums it's clear that this problem is quite pervasive; and what's more there doesn't appear to be any sort of helpful instruction anywhere, either official or unofficial.
It's probably just too new, but in any case, I can't give a good review to something that won't work.
These reviews are crap. They are useless. Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas
How they got public, I don't know. What's the point? I don't see the point. My indentions!
ScribeFire Rocks -- Click a little icon on status bar, and up pops a window where you have control over posts for ALL of your blogs. Easily create, edit & delete posts, along with creating drafts. Upload pics/files via the built-in api, or ftp if you wish. The beauty of ScribeFire is that it remembers the text field, so you can close it out and resume writing your post later. Why log into wordpress when wp-admin is slow as a hog?
Categories missmatch Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas
Yesterday I install scribefire add-on to firefox 188.8.131.52 on my linux system (ubuntu feisty).
It seems that the category did not fetched correctly.
My blog at wordpress have 4 categories, and it is correctly fetched in my windows system (XP Prof). In my linux system they fetch more than 30 categories, and none of them are mine.
Does any one have the same problem with me ?
HTML inserted Puntuado con 3 de 5 estrellas
Just as another reviewer noted I get the HTML code inserted after a sentence period when I double space. Then I have to go back and edit them out. Another disappointment is I haven't figured out how to copy/paste certain items into note. I get error msg when attempting upload, but I don't know what code to change from the error msg in the copy.Esta valoración es de una versión anterior del complemento (184.108.40.206).
Small problem Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas
My only problem with the program is that I have been taught to double space after each sentence. When I do that, first space is ok, but I get the HTML code for a space after it ( ) and I have to go to my blog and edit the message. Fix that and I could give it a 10.Esta valoración es de una versión anterior del complemento (220.127.116.11).
Works fine in Wordpress Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas
This extension saves me time. Oh yeah & frustration. My server is a little finicky, so instead of losing a post that I had spent a half an hour on, I can switch to the code & copy & paste it until my server is working a little better ;)
Anyways, I did notice it is hard to get the CLOSE button on this extension to work. Would be nice to press the close button & it would go away (on the first couple of tries anyway)
After careful consideration... Puntuado con 2 de 5 estrellas
I have decided to wait until I find one that has better reviews. I can post directly to one of my sites when I'm there anyway. I can link to 'Blog This' to send a cut 'n' paste to blogger, or I can send it in an e-mail. Performancing will not post to newsvine, nor will it post to some other simple blogs. I have sites on MySite and FreeServer, both of which have blogs, neither of which can be posted to with Performancing. I don't see the point. Thanks anyway.Esta valoración es de una versión anterior del complemento (18.104.22.168).
Pointless Sin puntuar aún
Back to the drawing board - this is crap. It accepted only two out of six blogs - all the rest returned obscure errors from Blogger when I tried to add them. The most annoying, apart from "unknown error" is "If you are embedding video, close embed tags" - it's a plain text blog for godsake. And yes, I did check out the blogs' logins directly on Blogger - they are all fine.
On one I could use with ScribeSquirm, the html tagging doesn't render but is printed in the blog, making a mess of it and requiring proper editing in the Blogger editor. So what's the point?
This add-on is being quickly demoted to add-off.
