Review & Improvement Suggestion Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas

This add-on is for people, who use a lot of tabs, more than they can handle at least. So it´s a very good approach, to limit yourself, and to have an overview about how fast and how many tabs you are opening in a single firefox-session.

I often come up against about 100 open tabs (useful or not), but that consumes a lot of system resources, slowing down my (older) computer. Using this add-on protects me at least from opening too many tabs in one single window. And that is a big progress!

This add-on works fine, but there are two suggestions for improvement:

When the limit is reached, a too tiny, too grey window scrolls in at the bottom, that can be easily OVERLOOKED! I often start many tabs from one website, but after some clicks I realize too late, that the limit was reached long before. So I don´t know what tabs where opened, and what tabs where cancelled from opening. My overview and scheme is lost. It would be very useful, if the limit-window would be a popup-window with a button to confirm, so that it can never be overlooked (maybe as an option).

The second suggestion concerns the number of open firefox-windows: as a real tab-junkie, you usually can´t be hold back that easy, so if the limit is reached, you open another firefox-window, and the game starts from the beginning. After 10 open windows with each 10 tabs, the machine usually also slows down and reminds you that way of your bad habit. It would be very useful, it you could also limit the number of firefox-windows, or simply the SUM of all tabs (amount of all tabs in all windows together).

If you can add these two options, this "anti-tab-junkie" or "voluntary-self-control" add-on would be more "soft" for cure beginners. Thank´s a lot!!

Thanks for the review and suggestions! Really good point on the number of windows and sum of all tabs. I'll definitely put them into consideration and implement a solution in the next version.
