Doesn't seems to work now Puntuado con 2 de 5 estrellas

I hadn't any keyword.URL line in about:config in firefox 30.0.
I found the solution with the extension "keyword Search" which allow you to add search engine right into the module option panel.

Just plain works Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

Thank you for this. I used to use Browse by Name which no longer works in Firefox 28. Why do they always try to make us do without things that work well! This does one thing - brings back the ability to type a store or a web name into the address bar and have it bring up the page - not a google result. Did I say thank you? I'll do it again.

Works just fine on Firefox 29.0

Simple, effective. Perfect. Personally I use it with DuckDuckGo and have Google as my preferred engine on the search toolbar. This allows me to hit f6 and quickly use a !bang or hit tab to do a quick google search.

The keyword URL I use is: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=!
For instant bangs.

Failed Palemoon Support. Don't download if you're using palemoon. Puntuado con 2 de 5 estrellas

Works great with firefox, but no longer works with the latest version of palemoon which is 24.4.2. Kind of a shame as it usually is compatible, but I suppose this time the devs quit support for palemoon. As of now - Rubbish...

Mozilla may consider the new URL bar behaviour an improvement, but I certainly don't. This brings back the old way which was just fine(tm).

Thank you, very much for this add-on, I've been using Firefox since 2.0 and i've become accustom to doing things a certain way and when Mozilla thought it necessary to take this feature away, it just about became a deal breaker for me, I was debating between switching back to Firefox 22 or dumping altogether when I found this gem.

I've been using this add-on for a few weeks now and haven't ran into any of the bugs some people have experienced with this add-on

Works as intended, but when I first added this, I couldn't find the option in my list of configurations. So maybe for those who have the same problem:
Type about:config in your adress bar, then right click, add new string, and name it (Case-sensitive) keyword.URL and as value you use the url the creator has given.

Works as intended, but doesn't work for new tab searches Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas

It's better than the default behavior, but it doesn't work when you drag selected text into the tab strip (which opens it in a new tab as a search with the url search engine).

Please fix this for full consistency.

It's so helpful being able to input something on the Awesome Bar and have it go there automatically. It's a bit like the future -- you tell your machine what you want, and it knows what you mean, and goes there. Rarely, it glitches out and searches for stuff using my search bar engine, but otherwise, it's a brilliant addon!

The addon is useful but breaks 'Manage Search Engines'.

Doesn't work on FF 26.0
Whatever I type in it just adds WWW. and .com to it.

Great extension for those of us who like to have the option of two different search engines active. For those who are experiencing the inability to save search engine changes, try the extension "Organize Search Engines." Brings back the functionality, with extra features!

For me it worked till FF26. Then it made my search bar worthless. I unistalled the extension and back to normal.

Brings back old functionality with a little bug Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas

I used the functionality of this plugin all the time in the past. So glad I can use it again... It also works like a charm. With one little exception: If the plugin is activated I can't save my quick-search engines after reordering.
